You pointed out exactly what I wanted to say. She IS one of the most popular contestants and as you said, alot of people watched JDJ only for her. This is exactly why SONY would do such a thing. Exploit her popularity and take an Ekta style twist/turn to raise their TRPs. And one have to give it to them, it surely did create a buzz! No one can deny that!
So just to prove that BT proteges are not being favoured by the channel , prachi was shown the door ???? How is it any less sillier than the notion that SONY is now putting on a ruse to bring back only Prachi as claimed by a selected few?
I would think sony was sucking up to BT 😆 ....I think we're giving Balaji and Balaji's head czarina Ekta Kapoor way too much credit. first with jitendra on the judges panel , next with four BT actors ... And yet you're finding it hard to believe WHY Sony would want to INTENTIONALLY oust out Prachi to set an example? This is exactly why! Some selected view seems to to think that Ekta dominates SONY or something so what better way to set an example than to oust out Ekta's current biggest success story--Prachi? I dont know about BBC but I feel BT can definitely influence Sony ... none of their daily serials are clicking and they are banking on Ekta to change their fortunes ... they have some 4/5 BT serials lined up for the channel in the coming months Again, I think we're giving Ekta Kapoor and Balaji too much credit here. Balaji and Ekta are peanuts infront of BBC.

Btw, being mature and experience something can be two different things.

Voting is really unpredictable , seen it so many other reality shows where u can be on top one week , and get the lowest votes next week... Maybe her fans were napping that day ( well , i voted ) , or maybe others indulged in power voting ...

But can it really be so sudden? Just she has not even been in danger zone and suddenly she is out.

Seriously we are all thinking that Sony is oh so fair but nope, they are just in a money making business and winning against another channel is what matters at the end of the day. They dont worry who becomes scapegoat in the process.

Zerobstolerance , if SONY wanted to set an example , they wouldnt have had Jeetendra and four balaji actors in the first place

That's exactly why SONY would want to set an example because the show from start has recieved a criticism that Ekta kapoor's favourite people are favoured on jhalak dikhla ja .. even one or two choregropher contestants had said that..

so they decide to dump someone and who better than ekta kapoor's greatest success right now Prachi desai.. so she was apparently made a scapegoat just to prove that the show doesnt favour ekta kapoors protegees.

I wish Sony had handled it better ...... they have made a royal mess of everything.... and prachi is bearing the brunt of it ...
And regarding the choice that prachi had , i wasnt grudging her for accepting to be back .... just that the fact that she dint refuse ( unlike sudha) might not have gone down too welll with the contestants ...

This article reeks of yellow press to me. In my opinion it is nothing but dramatization and exaggeration. What better way to incite viewers than drawing them into a fiery contest where the contestants are divided and pitted ruthlessly against each other. So much drama and what will happen next. After all we are a nation hooked onto melodramatic soaps.

In the reality shows here in United States they constantly show people arguing, being mean to each other, backstabbing, trashtalking, dividing everyone on a with me or against me line. I used to like Indian reality shows because of the decency and dignity left. Contestants were always well behaved with each other and the media did not interfere and make a circus out of people's private disagreements and issues. Looks like now Indian media is also day by day going the scandalous way.

I feel sorry for Prachi being stuck in the middle of all this. She is simply a small town teen who is making it big. Her bubbly giggly naively annoying personality shows that she is not one to play politics, pull strings or have her way. It is really not her fault if powers that be wanted to bring her back. By dividing the contestants on her return, the media and producers have ensured an interesting contest. Prachi sympathizers will vote feverishly for her, while others will vote for other people being spiteful at her return.

Sandhya is a fiery opinionated personality. She definitely woul have shared a piece of her mind regarding the sudden WC entry. However, I am quite sure she is a mature adult. After her initial outburst she probably cooled down. I also do not think she would hold anything against Prachi. Perfectly opportunistic of the media to take her fiery personality against her. Some Sandhya fans will vote more for her, while others will reconsider - after all we Desis prefer nice and quiet girls.

Ronit Roy is simply a nice guy to hold grudges against people. He seems to be a man of principle and probably spoke out that the WC was unethical. While there is already controversy on Nicole's injury they have added nice fuel to the fire with his side taking.

Sonali seems unlikely to make a big deal. She seems to have a hard time speaking up for herself and articulating it seems unlikely that she would speak out against someone else.

Negi sir is much older and has nothing to do with media and its politics. He seems more for the experience that cutthroat winning. He probably views Prachi like a daughter and feels protective of her. I do not see why media needs to consider that side taking. It is nothing but an older man looking out for the kid. However, the media has been smart playing him low. After all unless SRK keeps making hockey movies every year the fickle junta will forget all about hockey in a few months as cricket picks up again.

Jay again is caught in the loop. He has received fire for complaining against Ronit and his scores and criticizing judgment. This is a perfect opportunity to pit Jay against the others again.

Overall this is a very cunning ploy to add spice to the show and we are falling for it. It would not surprize me if the whole elimination and WC was pre planned.

Sometimes I wonder if they kept Mika in so long just for publicity. After all his loud mouth and arrogance has created such a furore. That guy singlehandedly sparked so many debates on his talent, attitude, behavior, singing, dancing, dressing you name it. Did keep the excitement going.

Hey according to TB , Sudha and Prachi both give performances ...... and it seems Prachi's was better ....
