Vickey Lalwani Prachi Desai may be popular with viewers but her popularity quotient with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 contestant seems rather low. News is that some participants have flatly refused to welcome back Prachi Desai (Bani of Kasamh Se) in the show. Prachi gained a re-entry into the show by way of a wild card entry. This irked Sandhya Mridul, Sonali Kulkarni and Ronit Roy, who are very upset that she made her way back after she was eliminated on Diwali night. Prachi Desai with her Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa choreographer Deepak An eye-witness says, "Nobody said even a 'hi' to Prachi. Obviously, Prachi was very disheartened. She didn't expect such cold behaviour. She was crying inconsolably on the first day of her return." The outcome is that Jhalak 2 is now divided into two distinct camps. While Sandhya, Sonali, Ronit form the first camp, Prachi, Jay Bhanushali (Neev of Kayamath) and Mir Ranjan Negi form the second camp. After Prachi's return, Jay is also being given the cold shoulder by the anti-Prachi camp. Mridul dragged Jay and tried to make him understand that he should come with her to protest that the wild-card should not be introduced. However, Jay did not get swayed and preferred not to join the anti-Prachi camp. Sandhya was very aggressive in ensuring that Prachi does not return. She did not want Prachi because Prachi is Ekta's friend now. Once upon a time Ekta was Sandhya's close friend. Things went sour between Sandhya and Ekta, and ever since then, the two have not exchanged a single word. Negi, however, is not facing the brunt from the anti-Prachi camp since he keeps to himself anyway. "Negi is an elderly person. The anti-Prachi camp does not misbehave with him," our source further reveals. When told that Jhalak 2 had broken into two camps, Negi said, "You seem to have all the information. Yes, Jay and I have no problem on Prachi's return. But the other contestants have not taken it kindly. They believe that once out, means out." Prachi (who had gone to Tirupathi to pray for her comeback) said, "Mrs Negi was the first person to call me up and congratulate on my comeback. Jay is also very happy. I haven't interacted with the others probably because they are very busy with their rehearsals. The competition is getting tougher, I guess." Sandhya categorically said that she was unhappy that only two contestants (Prachi and Sudha) had been considered for the wild card. "There is no camp. I did not try to influence Jay. As for Ekta, she doesn't come in the picture for me. But yes, I have expressed my opinion against the way that the wild card functions. Why not consider the other guys who have been eliminated?"

Thought this would happen 😕 ...Ronit aslo?? 😕 Im suprised about tht i would have thought he would have like her coming bac and Jay not liking but its other way around....

What utter bull shit.
Ronit won't ever go against Prachi or anyone else for that matter. Just coz he said it is unfair for other contestants in the video they showed doesn't mean he is part of any camp. If there is a camp it is Sandhya, Jay and Sonali who always crib about other people getting high points. There is no such camp.
Especially when Ronit is part of Balaji himself how will he join the camp, and go against Ekta who has bought Prachi back. A guy who is ready to leave the show to make others happy would never join a camp. this is soooo wrong.
Plus PRachi and ROnit r good friends...and genuinely like each other, he would never do that to her.

I watched the video of Saturday where Ronit Roy mentioned that he was OK with leaving the show if it gave happiness to others. I do not think he would be against Prachi coming back. All publicity stunts - negative publicity for Ronit Roy and positive publicity for Prachi to cover up the way she re-entered.

However it seems Prachi has not realized that the way she has come back into the show is not a fair way at all. I have nothing against any of the contestants and wanted the best dancer to win. Now with all this corruption and negitivity linked with the show I am not interested in watching it at all.

They might as well hand over the winner's title to Prachi and wind up the current season.

So childish...and I have expected such behaviour from all of them, so I am not surprised. Though I thought Jai would also behave the same, seems like he has sense.

About negative publicity, once a fan decides that they dont want to hear anything about their fav celebraty, nothing can change that I guess. Mr.Negi is clearly saying that only Jai and he are okay with Prachi's entry.

Everyone thinks it is unfair for Prachi to come back but what is her fault in it. She is young and like any young kid, she also just wants to win a competition and when she is giving a chance, she is taking it up. Sudha is much more matured and stayed away but you can expect Prachi to be the same as she is only seeing the way world works now. Also, I dont think only because of EKta she was brought back, go and see sify's msg board, a lot of people from the audience demanded for her wild card entry. Also there were articles on that and a person from IF was also quoted. So dont be such a kid towards Prachi guys.

And if you think others like Sandhya and Ronit and Sonali are playing it fair...good luck to you guys.

How childish! I know Ronit and Sandhya are not talking about FAIR! Also, if it's so easy for people to say that Ekta is behind her return, one can also very easily say that the show from start has recieved a criticism that Ekta kapoor's favourite people are favoured on jhalak dikhla ja .. even one or two choregropher contestants had said that. So how is it fair that SONY decide to dump someone and who better than ekta kapoor''s greatest success right now Prachi desai.. so she was apparently made a scapegoat just to prove that the show doesnt favour ekta kapoors protegees. And SONY is too big of a channel to be influenced by Ekta Kapoor and Balaji because SONY doesn't own the format of the show, BBC does so SONY would need to provide proof to BBC before they could allow a wild card entry.

And why are people blaming Prachi for returning due to public demand?

If the contestants are showing Prachi the cold shoulder that is so childish and goes to show the pettiness fo certain individuals....The decision was not in Prachi's hand so taking it out on her is extremely unfair....I am extremely surprised at Ronit for giving Prachi the cold shoulder especially after he stated in the Diwali episode that I also want the audience to vote for .... Goes to show you how two faced people can be!!!

Fsam: The chain of recent happenings point to the fact that there is negative publicity. It does not take a rocket scientist to read between the lines.

Je_aime: It is not the question of childishness but of fairness and the rules of the competition that must have been explained to the participants when they signed up for the competition. I would not blame anyone for feeling short changed on the issue. Negi being the most matured participant gave a very non-controversial statement. Jay being another one of Ekta's new 'blue-eyed' protegee has made a wise move by showing that he is 'pro-Prachi".

However being pro or anti Prachi is not the issue - fairness is. All the eliminated participants should have been given a chance to compete for the wild card entry.
