J halak Dikhla Jaa's sec- ond season has big names and some fresher elements. Also, they seem to be aping Nach Baliye 3 in more ways than one. First, Nach.. signed up Rakhi Sawant. So Jhalak.. answered by signing up Mika Singh. Next, Nach.. announced its hosts.. Season Two winners, Hussain and Tina Kuwajer- wala. And now we're told that Jhalak's Season Two will be hosted by last year's winner Mona Singh, and Rohit Roy. This time around, the show which converts non-dancers into performers, will be judged by Shiamak Davar, Urmila Matondkar and Jeetendra. Yesteryear's Jumping Jack is excited to be a part of the show. "We're here to see how the participants overcome their inhibitions. We're not concentrating on details." Davar, meanwhile, says all he wants to see on stage is mag- ic and the rest will follow. The 12 contestants who'll dance their way are Mini Mathur, Ronit Roy, Prachi Desai, Mir Ranjan Negi, Sandhya Mridul, Sudha Chandran, Jay Bhanushali, Tapur Chatterjee, Aadesh Shrivastav, Mika Singh, Cyrus Brocha and Sonali Kulkarni. Chandran who is a classical dancer, says, "This is very new to me. I hope I can cope." Negi, former coach of the Indian hockey team says, "People think a sportsman can't dance. I'll prove them wrong." Jhalak Dikhla Jaa starts on September 28 on Sony TV.
