IT is a copy of "dancing with the stars" which airs on ABC in USA. Dancing with the Stars is the American version of the international smash hit series, "Strictly Come Dancing".

i guess u r really upset abt mumbai? (u probably meant bollywood) copying these shows and movies.
all i can say is, some of the copies (shows, serials, movies) are far superior compared to indian original sas bahu crap 🤢 .. when given a choice, i prefer to watch the copies!

You also sound upset about the "wannabe" issue. I agree that a certain influence can ruin the purity /essence of our culture.. but if we choose a good ideal, may it even be "Western", "wanna-being" may not be essentially bad.
have fun on the forum..

i hope the earlier information was helpful. 😃

Yes.It's a fact that these "copied" programmes are done after getting permission. The original producers don't mind because it only proves it's popularity. They kind of encourage it.After all Imitation is the best form of Flattery.
I remember Jeena isika naam hai getting into trouble when the producers in Delhi did not complete the cpyright formalities.
"Who wants to be a millionaire" was even hosted in Cantonese and Japanese!
The TV industry is used to it.But no doubt, the TV industry in India must strive to be more creative and make indigineous shows as there is no dearth of talent.
