Anyone wants to discuss the first inaugural episode???

How was the overall episode??

Was it as per ur expectation??

Did you want to see anything else, which was missing?

We didn't get to see much dance of the celebrities, hence without taking into consideration their dancing abilities, whose intro did you like best??? and whose was ott, or not so good....

Any opinion on the episode would be most welcome.....

ps: i didnt see any episode discussion post, hence I created this one..... just wanted to know if we would have an episode discussion thread for the next time round????

Thanks for the thread, I was looking for it yesterday, lol ! Hehe !

I guess after today's episode all the threads will be dedicated to Madzz and her dance <333 Wowww !

Okay, so not digressing, and answering your questions, here are my little thoughts on yesterday's episode.

The episode was good overall. One of the best curtain raisers of Jhalak that I have seen. It was good.

Believe it or not, or just laugh at me, but the one thing that I missed was a person -Toby. I really wanted him to be here this time. He was Mona Singh's choreographer the first time around, any one remember him? That guy had grace and everything ! I really missed him yesterday. How I wish he would have come back this time.

Favourite Contestant ! Aaah, okay now we have to see them all dance. But I really love Sushant. He's got the right amount of grace and all, and he's one of my favourites =) So yeah, I will always be a little biased there. Hehe ! And he can dance, we saw that on ZND, didnt we? ;)

OMG ! And I loved Remo's perfomance. It was just out of the world, really. I had my mouth opened the full time he dances. *Sigh*

I loved the opening episode...... It was full-on dhamaka, with so many of my fav celebrities.... I loved Malaika's n Remo's dance..... both were amazing !!!!!!

I wish there was a bit of interaction between all the contestants, however I guess we will see lots of that in the coming episodes...... it looked a bit like all seperate- disjointed segments, as there was lil interaction with the contestants, and the rest.... like, i would have loved to see Govinda and Ragini talk a bit... she is also his bhanji after - all.. then, Savita Prabhune (Pavitra Rishta fame) came and didnt say a word for the PR pair.... it felt kinda weird......😕

Kavita Kaushik (FIR) danced and I dont think she even got a mention by anyone.....or did she??

I liked Govinda's act a lot... he danced on so many of his songs... and he is sooo goood.. probably tats why they gave us a good dose of him, compared to the others.... I didn't like the choice of Mahi's song ( no comments on the dance., will wait n see)......the song was a tad too dull for my liking... !!!🤢

I wish Sushant - Ankita's AV was a bit more spunky, more fun like... it seemed a bit too cheesy for my liking (they r my fav couple, despite that)..............😭

Anushka n Chang's bit was nice n energetic, he looks cute....

Shekhar Suman -- He looked like a "budi ghodi laal lagam " types to me, no offence to his fans.... But, I wish he had tried doing something, which was not in competition with his son... He has worked very hard for trying out so many aspects of entertainment world, but I wish this guy tried to act a bit more modestly... 😡

Renuka's intro was OTT for me.. I have loved her as an actress, and would love to see her dance, but the too much suger coating by the saas' was way over the line.....😡

I loved I loved Ragini, Esha - Anoushka and Dharmendra's acts.. they were all fun !!!!!😃

Mika was at his usual entertaining best.... I liked Yana- Mika bits..

It was great to see the choreographers being introduced in Malaika's dance... nice to see them all !!!!!!!

I think this grand premiere lived up to my expectations in terms of entries, performances, masti, introducers (govinda, helen etc.) and lots more.

What I thought that was missing was choreographers' performance. I understand its hard to incorporate individual dance sequences but they could have shown a more elaborate group performance and had introduced them individually too. After all, they are the backbones of the show, aren't they?

My favorite performances were: Govinda-Krushna😆, Chang-Anushka-Ranvir, and Remo D'Souza👏.
Performances that could have been definitely better: Malaika Arora Khan's cuz I didn't like the song mix.

I was also hoping to see a performance from Sumeet & Mona as Mona was Season 1 winner and I have never seen Sumeet dance (dont rmmr if he danced in U me aur hum).

OVERALL, the premiere was really good. Way more elegant and larger than what I was expecting.

to her defense😃, she has actually lost a few kilos i am sure. i saw her in a show a few years back and believe me, she was not at all looking like what she is now. and i am sure she'll loose more now that she'll be rehearsing constantly. 😳

I would have loved to see Krushna,Govinda Ragini interacting....that would have been fun....to see the three of them having fun and dancing...I didnt like how no one mentioned it either....I mean atleast mention that Krushna and Ragini are cousins

same with Savitaji from PR....I mean I would think she should say something to Ankita because they're quite close😕

Krushna-I thought Govinda's act was good but WAY too long for my taste...I mean the show already started half an hour late here due to Sony's oh so perfect timing schedule😡 it took up half an hour for only the 1st contestant...I like Krushna so that was ok...but Govinda was there for a long time..it got boring after a while🥱

Ragini😳😳I'm biased but for me she is the dark horse of this competition for now...she's in my top 3 already (the other two are Ankita and Sushant) I thought her AV was the best one😆 with her being dressed as a tapori and all....and I loved her modesty towards Helen

Mahi is a good dancer but agree with you about her song choice....I think Mahi could also be a dark horse for the competition, I love her sweet, seedhi saadhi type nature

Anushka seems like a bindaas bol types....I love her spunky attitude...I thought the step thing she did in her dance was really good....will be nice to see her performances

Renuka- introduction was WAY too long again...nothing against Lata,Savitaji and Saritaji....I love all three of the ladies but I didnt want to see THEM perform or dance or whatever.....that was a bit weird for me as well...but Renuka is a sweetheart....I'm rooting for her as well😃

Chang-I always had a soft spot for him since Idol....so I think he will be good...I loved Anushka Sharma interacting with him...it was too cute😳

Yana-I'm indifferent towards her at the moment....will see how she progresses to comment

Ankita-Sushant-my jaanus❤️ love these two😳....like I said before Ragini,Sushant and Ankita are my top 3 as of now.....I agree with you about their AV....I thought it could have been a bit better....I think however Sushant has a bit of en edge over Ankita because of ZNKD but I think Ankita will improve over the course of the competition.....I thought that Kinshuk and Parul were good too...I loved their cute segment with the hanky game and the "Aa dekhe zara" part....they will be a treat to watch😳

Daya-I loved him in CID when I used to watch....so it will be fun to see him as himself rather than a super cop😃

Akhil-same with Yana...I'm a bit indifferent towards him..will make a better opinion after his dances

Shekhar-ugh his attitude is enough to make me dislike him anyways though lets see how he does..

Remo was AMAZING...he was too good👏👏👏 I thought he was phenomenal

Mailika was good too, but I didn not like her costume🤢 wish the choreographers were shown more

and of course Madhuri😳😳😳 I was dying to see her perform....too bad she just did one step but I cant wait to see her fully perform in today's episode😳

overall I think this season is a rocking one....everyone has potential of winning and improving..as of now my faves are Ragini,Sushant and Ankita as of now....but I'm also rooting for Mahi, Renuka and Anushka

I think dark horses of the competition will be either Mahi,Ankita or Ragini and even Krushna for that matter

as for the hosts I LOVE Mona, I wish they had gotten Prachi too....I would have loved to see them two again...but I like Sumeet too...I think the hosts will do a good job too

Even though I saw HAHK last week. 😆

I don't really know what to expect out of Anushka and Yana =\
But I automatically root for them cause theyre partners with Punit and Salman =)
