No need to tell you guys who Vaibhavi Merchant is!!! Iam just trying to list out some facts about her...

Vaibhabhi Merchant (born 1975) is a well-known Bollywood dance choregrapher,who is the grand daughter of the famous choreographer B.Hiralal.

She started her career by acting in the Malayalam movie Snehapoorvam Anna,but it turned out to be a flop..She was infact not interested in continuing the acting career and she decided to return to her passion,dancing and choreography..

Her first solo work was the choreography for the hit song ''Dhol Baje" in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which eventually got a national award!Then she took a small break from the field,but came back with a bang composing the song "O Ri Chhori'' in the form Lagaan..After that she didnt have to turn back..She became recognised as one of the best choreographers in Bollywood..

oh she got one last year also..didnt know that..thanks for the information..i just love her work in 'dhol baaje'..its so awesome..really deserved a national award for that..

yeah the song was very beautifully choreographed. she deserved award for that and got it in the very beginning of her career...great for her..

between i like the title of the topic...

in this sec nothing much has been discussed about her, when she used to judge nach baliye 3 , she really did have some great fans on IF that time, who used to post some great topics about her..that time i was new here...bw i am not that good at writing...

I just love Vaibhavi😊. And was surprised when i came to know that the song "Kubaku" from movie "Dil maange more" was choreographed by her.

Btw "Dhol Baaje".... Yeh kaunsa song hai? which movie???

its from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam..starring Aiswarya Rai and Salman Khan..check the song in you tube..great dance!

Ohhhhhhhhhh you mean "Dholi taro Dhol Baaje"....How stupid i am....Its one of my favs too 😛. I thought maybe a new song😛

Also... i would like to add that in all the movies mentioned above.... She did not choreographed all the songs of the movie.... sometimes 1 or 2 ..and sometimes maybe all the songs.
