u talk audience voting that's bound to happen man! that's what is audience voting na.. .audience is ruled by emotion.. there will be a very less population who will see only dance or singing and vote on that basis... and when that is so rarely seen in talent hunts like indian idol, where all the contestants are technically common people, who come there purely based on talent..even there. more often than not, we see an unfair result.. so expecting something different in a celebrity show isn't sensible on our part.. dont know about religion based votes, but heck yea, region based winners are becoming increasingly common these days in all shows..i wonder, what its gonna take in India, to absolutely throw out the voting system, or atleast make it just 1 vote per person.
Religion based voting is also common yaar...........I remember in Little Champs..... Aamir came 3rd probably coz he's a Muslim....And in india Muslim is a minority. I wanted Aamir to win..... But he stood 3rd.
My hometown is Delhi....and im a Punjabi...still i dint wanted that Blind boy(from Delhi) to win......But he stood 2nd. This is another reason.....Sympathy Votes. There are so many reasons for audience to votes...they just forget the actual reason for which they should vote ..that is talent!
