In return we have many reasons as to why baichung deserves to win. Baichung has shown amazing growth as a performer, he has received all the praises and appriciation of judges and audiance, he has always got high scores, he is a gr8 dancer even as individual and that is confirmed after I saw his tapori dance, baichung never fell for cheap gimmicks to garner votes.
Now these are the valid reasons and if you karan fans want to have valid discussions then provide us with valid reasons as to why karan deserves to win rather then cribbing about the judges, popularity and the hosts. If you cant come up with valid reasons then dont expect that others will do it!
first and foremost, tell me what do u mean by valid reason? valid according to u? because in that case we are wasting time, coz what may seem valid to me may not be to u. like for example, whatever reasons u have given for baichung winning, i personally dont agree with them and can come with my reasons too.. but since we are not discussing that here, i wont enter into it.
coming to karan. ( God i feel like a first grader repeating the alphabets 😛 ).
1). u talk improvement, he has shown loads of improvement.. i have no idea if you've watched his show or no, but he was the proverbial 2 left feet.
2) i'm yet to find one single performance where the judges have found fault with his dance per se. true, choreography is important and that has many times been a disappointment.but i personally dont find it fair to deem a fairly good dancer bad, just because of choreography,same as i dont find the sense in praising another performer strictly based on the choreographer.
3). this is personally my greatest reason. the best is gone. there was time when i was hoping for a good result, with the best winning. with the remaining three, and with the competition mainly between baichung and karan, i do believe that karan is the best dancer. i beg your pardon, the better dancer..now u may not agree here, and i know many people will conveniently latch onto this point only, but i couldn't care less..karan, irrespective of the so called scores, is a better dancer and a better performer. in. my. opinion.
4) the reason i kept this last is not because its least important.it is infact, the most important, but somehow people do not appreciate it. maybe because the person who benefits the most from it is somebody they don't like.
this is a celebs dance show. based on audience voting..honestly, why is this concept so difficult to comprehend? u may ask is it fair?no it isn't. but when the concerned participants signed up for it, knowing pretty well that expecting a fair result is foolishness, why the heck do the normal audience have a problem with it? u read hard kaur's article. clearly been stated that expecting fair results only based on talent is foolishness. so why do people here keep raising that point? because that involves the so called most popular contestant?
and if u talk elimination on the basis of dance, then i agree karan would've been eliminated last week..but guess what? baichung would've been eliminated the week before. coz, since the day jhalak started the lowest scorer has been eliminated each week.excepttion: the last 2 weeks. i repeat. LOWEST. karan has never been the lowest. second lowest maybe on 2 occasions if i remember right, but usually somewhere in between. the first time he was the lowest and escaped the dance off was last week. and the first time baichung was the lowest and escaped the dance off was the week before in the circus round. unfair much?
i know for sure not many people will accept my reasons, save the few who recognize and respect the fact that everybody has their own opinion. but heck, i couldn't help trying.. and well, i do realize its too long too.. 😆 😆
