i completely agree with you...even i was discussing the same thing with my brother just a while ago...it's JDJ-dancing with the STARS, so there is always higher possibility that the popularity wins over the talent.

It's not even fair if SRK walks away with every freaking BEST ACTOR award coz he is just so popular among the masses. Yes, I acknowledge it's voting system and people tend to go for their favorites. But they should be supporting who deserves MORE.

Agreed JDJ is a DANCE show,,,,,,agreed Karan is not the best dancer.

Now, everyone is saying that voting is not fair....it is not. Popularity and Regionalism plays a major aspect in the show.

I have also said earlier that when celebrities are involved in any kind of a show leave aside dancing show it is difficult for the public to leave aside their favorites. Again not fair....but voting is just that....be it politics or reality shows.

I have personally seen Hard Kaur perform in a concert and it was mind blowing, Guahar is a popular model who performs on many music videos....so it is safe to conclude that both Hard Kaur and Guahar were good dancers before they entered the show. Therefore the competition began on an even footing, they had dancers and performers competing with non dancer actors and sportsmen...i think thats not fair. Either JDJ should have all actors/actresses as Stars and pair them with Choreographers or have singers/performers/music video girls with choreographers.

So having Hard Kaur, Guahar with Karan and Baichung in the same competition is not fair because obvioisly they were amazing dancers before they entered the show.

That leaves Baiching and Karan......now some people might be voting for Baiching's dancing skills and others vote based on regionalism...he represents North east...so they vote for him....fair? no...but that's what happens....identity voting always takes over....just like popularity

Regarding Karan, again some might vote for his performance while others vote for a lack of a better term his, popularity".

So then the question that arises is, Why just blame voting and fans for the JDJ debacle? May be the JDJ team needs revaluate how to design the show on a equal footing....either they sign non dancer stars just like Nach Baliye or sign stars like Hard Kaur and Guahar who are obviously performers and better dancers. Then it would be a fair competition.

Well, I blame fans for blindly following their favorites so much so that u dont even care what's right or wrong.

And i dont see anything wrong with the format....The format is the same as Dancing with the Stars (although some changes were made, obvious reasons- if based on voting only- the popular star is bound to win).
When u do voting system, you expect people to vote fairly.....but with the indian audience, it's always otherwise. You vote for wrong one and then BLAME the system??

Oh kinda like election nai?? It's with every politician. People complain a LOT about govt. What they should be doing instead is choose the RIGHT one and CHOOSE WISELY. Regionalism is another blatant nepotism.

As for the system again, yes they should maybe include only those contestants who are popular (all soap opera stars). Let there be clash amongst popularity only....

I am not blaming the system....merely an observation....also can't vote...as not from India......did you see my point? Hard Kaur and Guahar were the best from the beginning....Baichung and Karan stand no chance....but then voting comes in and then becomes a different ball game altogther,

My suggestion or rather sarcasm for including soap stars was not that it would be a competition between popularity but then it would be a fair competition between non dancers.

Arey chica---I wasnt referring to you....I've seen so many posts claiming blame the system. And I'm not saying u're at fault as long as u acknowledge that whatever is happening is not fair. There are people in this forum who don't see that. That is frustrating. I'm making arguments with u because u do realize that and are not one tracked. Otherwise, KSG fans are just IMPOSSIBLE man!

How old are they? I presume, at their early teenage days.....They are just out there trying to DEFEND him and not be receptive at all...CANT THEY THINK beyond KARAN? like you do?
CANT THEY ACCEPT a simple FACT? I would appreciate if people were less reasonable. and make some good arguments.

My bad......lol.....but to be fair to all my fellow Karan fans.....from what I have seen on this forum.....they get provoked when he is called Monkey, pappu and other insulting names and I think many of them accept that he is not the best dancer...they say he is working hard....again I am gonna be honest I do not read every post on this forum....so I do not know how true my observation is....l am sure there might a few of them that act immaturly....just like some of the for a lack of a better term, "haters".

Do you think I should have mods close this thread? I mean it's just you and I....it's fun for me to chat with you but I am afriad it might turn into a war zone since we are approaching finals....wat say?
