JDJ: What happened the night before

THE show had an energetic start with Punjabi Kudi Hard Kaur's 'gidda' performance, followed by short individual performances by Monica and Karan. The performance ended with all three of them performing on a Punjabi song to complete the act. This was followed by Mona Singh's entry and the actress proceeded to incessantly flirt with Karan Grover through the show. Bhagyashree and Tony
Bhagyashree and Tony performed on Khwaab Dekhe Jhoote Moote from Race. For a change, her performance was up to the mark. The choreography was better than her earlier performances and her dance moves too had improved. However, we feel that the actress had still not shown her full potential and could have been much better. The judges felt the same way and gave them 24 points.

Anand Raj Anand and Rosita
Anand Raj Anand was the third contestant to be eliminated from the show and he made sure he gave his best on the wildcard round. They performed a folk dance on Apdi Pode Pode, amazing everyone present. The judges all praised him for his hard work and effort and we couldn't agree more with their remarks. They garnered 28 points.

Mohinder Amarnath and Lilian
Known to be young at heart, the former cricketer swirled with his choreographer Lilian on Banda Ye Bindaas Hai as they performed the samba on the Bollywood number. While the judges didn't really like their performance, stating that their energy levels were low, we really admired the various lifts they tried and the choreography. The judges gave them 20 points.
Indya rating: 7.5/10 Gauhar Khan and Himanshu
The eviction of Gauhar Khan, who is known to be one of the most graceful dancers on the show, stunned all of us last week. But lucky for her, she wasn't out of touch for long and immediately gave her best shot in a chance to get back on Jhalak. She stunned with her amazing performance on Tere Nainaa from Chandni Chowk To China.
Choreographer Himanshu worked in some wonderful lifts and the beautiful moves stole everyone's hearts. The judges praised their act for the unique concept and dancing and both of them got Saroj Khan's special blessings as she gifted them Rs.100. She also told Gauhar, 'You're the most graceful dancer I've ever come across'. With compliments like this, it is likely the model turned dancer has a good shot at competing again. They got a full 30 points.
Indya rating: 10/10 Ram Kapoor and Marischa
Ram has always been the most entertaining part on the show. With his comeback on the dance floor, the show got back its extra kick. Ram performed with an elastic band and also did cart wheel movements with choreographer Marischa on Sabse Bada Rupaiyaa. Mr. Walia is known for his attitude and expressions which helped him survive on the show for so long. He brought out all these good qualities for the wildcard performance, along with some good dance moves and garnered 27 points. And after the performance, his wife Gautami joined him to shake a leg.
Indya rating: 8/10 Ugesh Sarcar and Tina
The magician who could not work his magic on the dance floor was eliminated just after Bhagyashree. He's always had a tough time performing and yesterday too, he failed to prove himself. Ugesh performed with his choreographer Tina on Krazy 4 and their performance was criticised by all the judges. We too felt that he could have done his steps better. With all the criticism, they managed to score a meager 19 points.

The show ended with Parul's and Shilpa's individual performances and then a dual performance on Dholi Tharo.
