Unfair scores? The hypocrisy of Jhalak

Karan, while giving Dheeraj his feedback said that he has to judge fairly? Ok I get that Dheeraj’s perfomance wasn’t up to to mark, but what about the rest of the contestants?

What is the definition of fair? To mark everyone on the intensity of their sob story?

How was it fair that the stiff and highly low on energy acts of Rubina, Shilpa and Ali got the same scores as Faisal, whose performance was so so energetic and included actual dancing?

How was it fair that Gashmeer’s act got less marks than Paras and Niti?
Both Niti and Dheeraj were injured, but because Niti’s act was a tribute to Karan’s kids it got high marks despite the act being very very average. And dheeraj, I get his act wasn’t good, but Nora pointed out he’s injured and gave him low marks? Where is the fairness in this?

And again, Paras’s very average performance got high marks? I didn’t want to compare anyone but if the judges are trying to be fair, how was Paras’s act better than Faisal’s?

I would’ve let this go under the pretence that everyone was being scored on their own potential, but Karans remark of being fair made me really irritated.

what I feel would’ve been fair scores
Rubina’s score 24 (my score 21-22)

Paras’ score 27 (my score 24)

Shilpa’s score 24 (my score 21-22)

Faisal’s score 24 (my score 27)

Niti’ score 27 (my score 24-25)

Ali’s score 24 (my score 21)

I agree with your marks

the standard of jdj has decreased because of the judges' bias. they don't criticise properly. I expected madhuri to score fairly at least

Madhuri’s scores always seemed fair when she was last on the show. But that was when Remo was a judge too, I believe that may have influenced her fair criticism back then.

Now it’s just all over the place, the criticism from the judges feels scripted and rehearsed and at some points it’s so evident that their feedback is copy pasted for multiple contestants. An act will have no structure or balance and Madhuri would still call it ‘a very structured act’. :/

On what basis they give scores, i wish koi choreographer bhi judge hota, atleast woh fair scores deta, inka toh samajh na ata. sabhi ko acha bol dete hai. I feel is bar kaafi lenient marking kiye judges unlike first week. 😕

the scoring for this week was not fair or logical at all. i had to skip through much of the two episodes because the focus was only on everyone's sob stories. who cares dude we're watching this show to see some decent dance performances, not listen to people talk about how difficult their lives have been or are. i hate this aspect of reality shows 🤔

Completely agree to you. Not liking how they give marks.

I havent watched it, but @bold: whenever a tribute is given to any judge, it gets a high score
