its a well known fate that reality shows thrive on popularity...GC might not be the best person to win, if we go by talent, but yes he definitely worked hard, and toiled hard right from the start to finish...

well this is wat I believe to be. Gurmeet has a long eay to go and am happy he got something out of here although I wanted isha or ritwik winning, although I dnt care who has much popularity or dnt, for me he is just a person who I dnt knw

I agree Ayesha. It all comes down to who made the most impact with their performances. For me I will definitely remember Isha-Salman, Deepak-Rashmi, Rithvik-Sneha, Shibani-Punit, Darsheel-Avneet for their good dancing skills and good performances. For each individual that impact will be different and thus they will remember different contestants. So to each his own. One can't force others to remember certain individuals, same way one can't force others to forget someone, as simple as that.

Winner will be winner, but it is also true that sometimes winners are remembered for the wrong reasons. That's what happens with me when I see an undeserving candidate lift the trophy, whether it is Indian Idol, Big Boss or JDJ. I will always remember the ones who technically deserved it but lost out on it because of some unfair advantage of the winner.
