Since judges used their VETO for Isha, doesnt mean they are biased..they used it coz isha is a good dancer. she has got training in the form but still she did it with ine broken arm.
My point is: even with the injury she performed better than gurmeet (no offence) so she got points.

When I first saw the act, I was like damn she's pretty good for only being able to use one hand; hence there was some kinda sympathy towards her. Therefore; the judges saying that the scores did not reflect their sympathy towards her was complete bs. Her act was good, but not amazing. She's done something like that many times. However; I was most pissed about the group dance. Although, I don't find gurmeet to be all that great, he was better than Isha in the act. Infact, I thought Ritwik was the best in the group dance. I think they just wanted to give them full marks; so that they can stay in the final. I have a feeling Rashmi is not gonna make it to the finals. I'm sad :(

Thank you! *wipes tears of joy* for once I was actually pissed off at Gurmeets score during the group performance. For ONCE he actually danced really nice! Mind you I may be a fan but I'm not blind either. Hardly any of his performances had impressed me but when I saw him dance during the group performance, I actually caught a glimpse of what I've always wanted to see. He did not look stiff and was actually standing out with his dancing (His pretty face always stands out for me but this time his dancing did) and yet he got a 6! I wanted to enter the screen and personally hold up my very own score board LOL

Well to be fair, Ritwick is the only one that danced on Sunday.

Rashmi as much as I love her wasn't dancing because of the restriction.
Gurmeet was just jumping around with fire from one place to another like a circuit workout.
And Isha was only twisting and turning around a rope.

Other than Ritwick, no one really danced. So there's no point in using only Isha as a yardstick to compare Gurmeet's scores. I think Isha, Rashmi and Gurmeet should have received the same scores for Sunday because all of them danced with restrictions: added weight, fire and broken arm. Only Ritwick deserved the highest score out of the four.

I posted this in an earlier topic so I'll give a brief summary of that here. Anyone who wants to read a detailed and longer version, find the topic yourself. I don't even remember which topic it was in

Gurmeet did TANDAV - which IS a dance form - stunts are hardly ever part of the type of Tandav Gurmeet was performing.
That type of Tandav is known as a violent, angry Tandav and the performer is expected to EXPRESS all that through dance steps (which Gurmeet's act had close to none) - thus Gurmeet got low scores

Isha did ROPE MALLAKHAMB - which is NOT a Dance form - so 'gymnastics', 'stunts' or 'acrobatics' whatever you want to call it was GIVEN - she did it well (although she forgot some steps in the middle) thus got high scores

I hope that makes it clear why Isha's "Stunts" were given more scores than Gurmeet's "Stunts". If not... nothing more to say.

Agree with Chandramukhi - this topic has already been discussed and recycled plenty of other times... why same thing over and over again? I get bored of discussing same thing over and over again... doesn't anyone else?

Yeah, me too agree the same...I also like Isha's particular dances like fairy tale, horror...But most of the time I've her doing arial act only...Sorry guys I'm not against Isha...

But some people are thinking and against GC, telling he also done martial art which is not a dance act...But guys, he performed only two times and I found some details in Wikipedia...Here it goes...Its not an edited one...Source :Wikipedia

Mallakhamb in talent shows
In recent Indian talent shows like India's Got Talent and Dance India Dance mallakhamb has been used in dance acts, but Mallakhamb is not a form of dance and it should not be confused with pole dancing.

Some martial arts in various cultures can be performed in dance-like for various reasons, such as for evoking ferocity in preparation for battle or showing off skill in a more stylized manner. Many such martial arts incorporate music, especially strong percussive rhythms. (See also war dance.)

They did not use it because Isha is a good dancer. They used it because all of her PREVIOUS performances were always among the best (feel free to disagree but I am talking in terms of scores).

Why does everyone think that Isha got VETO because she is a good dancer. I don't think she did. Like I said it was based on her previous track record on JDJ5.

If still disagree, show me the clip where judges specifically said 'Isha we are using VETO because you are such a good dancer otherwise we wouldn't have'.

Please do tell me which episode and which bit. I tend to skip the general-talk and such stuff so I might have missed it... if the Judges used VETO for the reason you stated then it's not a very good reason at all...

War dance is DIFFERENT from the Martial Arts performance Gurmeet did. I doubt they do War dance anymore (before Wars these days - it was used mostly to uplift spirits of the warriors) - it was way back in the history, try about pre-1600s - and that War dance is not like the one Gurmeet did at all - that is full of force and passion (for living and fighting, not the other kind😉) and uplifting spirits of co-warriors (the correct word for uplifting-spirits is on the tip of my tounge but I can't access it...arghhh😡)

Gurmeet didn't do that stylised manner dance either - it's used mostly to show one's skills among friends/family and such - they used to do these things in China way back to impress the ladies and future father-in-laws (I think I have that right, but I could be wrong).

His was pure Martial Arts - it had dance dance steps and such - those two (above) are mostly done with another war instrument like a sword etc to give more effect and maybe at times performed without any instrument - Gurmeet's was NOT either of these Martial Arts dances.

[In general] Why do people compare stangest of things😕

Isha did full on Aerial in only TWO performances (and once in the Pareshaan act whcih was about 95% floor and 5% rope mallakhamb) - that Aerial hoop act and this Sunday's Rope Mallakhamb act. Am I the only one who missed 'all the other' aerial acts Isha did?

I agree with u...Everybody knows that he did not do well...I'm not comparing GC or Isha's performances...Isha did best in her act whatever she did...
I just mentioned here whatever I read in Wikipedia...and compared dance forms...
That Rope Mallakhamp is not a dance form and Martial art can be a dance form...
Because in some postsI read that he also did Martial art which is not a dance form like...So I came across about these in Wikipedia so mentioned here...
