I just remembered something - All REALITY shows are scripted - in some way. They might not have a 'winner' pre-planned but the personality or character they are going to portray is always pre-decided. I think in one of the CSI episodes, they had Reality shows as the main focus and many other TV programs too have depicted reality shows as one of the topics.

Anywho, the thing I am wondering is when do they (the creative team) decide who is going to be the winner? After the first performance of each contestant or before they have even given their first performance i.e. when they are signing the contracts they already know they won't be the Winner but they will stay in the competition as long as the public keeps them in?

Also, if JDJ5 is scripted then how come the reactions of those eliminated are soo realistic - I have two theories:

(1) either the contestants know beforehand that they won't be the winner but that they'll stay in the competition as long as their scores and votes keep them in - so the disbelieve look they have on their faces is for the shock that they didn't get enough votes; or

(2) they are all really good actors with exceptionally great acting skills for showing such shocked and mixed reactions. See Shibani's elimination or Darsheel's or Gia's or anyone else's for that matter. They all have this 'real' look of disbelieve which is very hard to enact no matter how good an actor you are.

just my 2 cents i.e. conspiracy theory or at least a way to make sense of this JDJ5 world😉😛

I think they start planning the winner either midway depending who is doing well and who has more fan base for the votes. I highly doubt they script it from the beginning cuz they don't know who the audience is connecting with, so may be in 2 to 3 weeks, they would know who is the real deal to stay.

As far as WCs go especially this season since they entered midway, I think they might have been told that they are on JDJ for entertainment purposes and don't belong to the race unless it is someone like Prachi Desai who was backed by one and only Ekta, even her elimination could have been planned who knows. I always thought WCs don't have a shot at winning considering many factors, stupid channel know how to use their audience by bringing such contestants on the stage.

@blue, good you didn't or I would have pounced on you 😆😆. Just j/k, you know you can always criticize, criticism is not bashing and I am sure everyone can take criticism if done properly except few of course.

I don't think KW has been bashed as much cuz this is news to me, at least not compared to Isha or GC. I like KW but wasn't a fan of his dancing, so I have always criticized that aspect of him. And FYI: I do not like when people tag criticism as bashing.

Agreed, Mohena wasn't a good choreographer and it showed on the stage.

Plus, It's just a Competition 😛 All have reached into the Top 5; that's something not everyone is able to do. So Kudos to them! And Isha's Injury was Unexpected so I'm Fine with her in the show - Want Bharti out First only then I can look at anyone else LOL😆

You know I appreciate your comment. And this is how it should be. Praise your favorite but don't at least mock others. I am better off applauding a GC fan like you than certain haters who are laughing at Isha's injury and calling it sympathy, even wishes her other hand to be broken and forget about the one who wishes her to die 🤢

Seriously, you think a person who loves dancing will fake such injury to garnish the votes. I don't know if she deserves it or not, but judges and the makers want her on the show so she is here. You or me or anyone can't do anything about it. So far she's been getting 0/60 and has been surviving on votes, then I would like to ask others who are voting day and night when their favorites get low scores and even get saved over the one who deserves simply based on voting, so how is it fair then. Of course then the lecture is about JDJ being a popularity show. But when it comes to someone else, all the logic goes out the window. You see the double standard here of certain individuals.

And about GC winning, I wouldn't mind that either and will be happy only for his certain fans like you. I also have the same view as you in terms of WC, I feel it isn't fair for them to win. And I don't think they will since it wouldn't make any sense. Had a big debate on it with Khushi 😉 So outta all I will be more happy if non WC wins except for Bharti, who in no way deserves to be on this stage 😡

And I agree, it is a competition, reaching till now is commendable for any contestant. And based on dancing and votes (and cheap jokes 🤢), people who didn't deserve it, has already left the stage 😊
