Khushi Dubey, last seen in Star Plus' Jaadu Teri Nazar opposite Zayn Ibad Khan, recently got in an exclusive chat with India Forums and spoke about the show going off air. The actress reveals how the news was broken to her and stated that she was just not able to come to terms with the said news.
Speaking to us about the same, the actress said, ''We were giving more than one thousand percent to the show. We were shooting with fever, there were no offs for months. We did not have a single off, maybe one, I remember, and even that day I was shooting somewhere else. So practically, no days off at all. It was unfortunate because none of us expected it, especially since the TRPs were rising. In fact, the day the TRPs went up, we were really happy. The graph was improving.''
''We had started with a rocking two point zero TRP, and everybody was shaken, wondering which show had managed that kind of opening on Star, especially when the highest TRPs were around two point one or two point two. We were in the top five for the first fifteen to twenty episodes,'' she further adds.

Opening up about the show's sudden downfall, Khushi says, ''There are multiple factors because of which things went haywire. And I was really in despair. I mean, a couple of days before the last day, we got to know it is going off air. I got a message from my producer saying, “It is a wrap,” and I was like, “Aap mere saath mazaak kar rahe ho? What kind of joke is this?” I was literally laughing it off, because I had no idea we were actually going off air.''

Even they were like, “We just got the message.” We had a conference call and all of that. On the last day, I cried a lot. Both Zain and I were crying a lot. Like two kids sitting in a corner, bulak bulak ke ro rahe the. So yes, it was very close to my heart. I do not think I take acting as just work. It is my passion. And I was really attached to the show. So I was not happy at all. But yes, I mean, yes.''
