Adhi paced in his room worried.
Wasn't Sharad's idea awfully straight forward!?
" Aapne bulaya!"
As her voice struck his ear drums, he looked up and swallowed the lump in his throat.
" Ha...vo kuch kaam tha"
" Kahiye".
" Ha..voh..." Adhi stammered and paced around the room and closed the door.
Her nerves were on edge.
Two days since the Big fat Realization.
Two days of sleeplessness nights and endless dreaming.
And here he was shutting the door!! Devi shrieked internally.
Her mind was on overdrive.
How would it feel like to be held in those strong biceps!
He cleared his throat to catch her attention.
She looked up at him, worried.
He was awfully nervous.
What did he want her to do!!!
Adhi took in a deep breath and opened his arms wide.
Devi looked at him confused.
"Come here", he signalled.

And Adhi shook his head in disbelief closing his eyes.
He saw it coming. She was going to insult him.
" I was right... You like me so much that you look for ways to touch me", she smirked.
" But sorry! I am not bound to obey you and I don't feel like obeying you", she announced.

However Suddenly his entire system rattled with continuous waves of currents.
And he felt the warmth seeping into his heart.
He opened his eyes and looked down.

In his arms.

He went limp in her embrace.
" Do you want to hug her?"
Sharad's words echoed in his brain and he looked down.
Eyes closed.
Ears on his heart.
Hands around his waist.
Plastered close to him.
Devi was shocked at his demand.
She wanted to deny but she badly wanted to accept.
It could've been his way to humiliate her.
But who cared.
She was in love.
Her First Love.
And she was going to Live every moment of it.
And thus she gathered her courage and stepped towards him.
Into his arms.
It was a bliss. The rhythmic beating of his heart, the feel of his tensed muscles.
His warmth was...
Suddenly she found herself pressed deeply into him, engulfed by his warmth completely.
She could feel his strong arms around her, his breath on her neck
It gave her goosebumps.
He was hugging her.
He hadn't insulted her.
And thus she closed her eyes and snuggled closer.
Adhi wanted this hug to go on forever.
He didn't want to pull away.
He wanted her even more close where he could feel her.
And thus he pulled her even more closer.
They basked in each other's warmth unaware of two pair of eyes that were keeping a watch on them.
They separated after full 10 minutes.
He looked at her.
She had lowered her eyes.
He felt a bit brave realizing that Devi mocking him for seeking proximity with her was just a stupid dream of his and that she had allowed him to come close.
She looked quite cute blushing like that!
He wanted to kiss her.
On cheek of course.
He lowered his head sideways towards her cheek when she turned her head up suddenly.
And their lips stopped mm apart.
Both jumped back.
Shocked at the turn of events.
Both waited with abated breath for the other to speak but thick silence hung in the air.
" Do you like me?" She asked out of the blue.
