Hello! I have just started watching this show and found it quite strange that everyone calls the lead Jasuben! even her own children and grandchildren. maybe there is a reason and would be greatful if somebody could explain if there is a story to this plot!

In some Gujrati families mother is called as ben for respect. The family in this show is from Junagadh so maybe there they call mother as ben.
