Dramatisation in reality shows is necessary, feels Mona Singh of "Jassi jaisi …" fame. The tele star, who is busy hosting "Jhalak Dikhla Ja", a reality dance show of celebrities, said such shows portrayed the truth and that people expressing their emotions was a true expression of what they felt at that very moment. "Whatever happens during the show is captured in the camera and audience gets to see it in such shows, there is nothing fake in them," said Mona, who was in the city to unveil Sirius, a new solitaire collection by Kirtilals. "I agree there is dramatisation in these shows, like we delay announcing results et al. But all that is necessary to keep the audience hooked." Having shed tears at the exit of at least three contestants in the show that she is hosting, Singh said: "I am attached to Mini Mathur, Tapur and Sonali." Her forthcoming projects, she revealed include another show based on makeovers. "Films too are on the cards, you would soon know," said the actor, who appeared much slimmer than her Jassi days.
Happy hosting a reality show, Mona said the feeling came also because she had been a part of the first series of the same show. "I feel pretty exited as my choreographer Tobby is participating this time as well, it feels tremendously good." In this show, Sandhya Mridul remains her favourite while if you ask her of her fashion icon, she quite strongly votes for Sushmita Sen "for the ease with which she carries herself".
