Karan has a birthday surprise for Mona

"As soon as both of us finish shooting we will meet up. This is a very special day for us. We are not going to have a party with friends. Only Mona and I will be there. There are lots of surprises for Mona. She is a simple girl, so she likes to celebrate without too much fuss," reveals Karan.

The actor, who has been dating Mona for two years, adds, "Last year Mona was on a US tour so we could not do anything but this time I want to compensate. But all the plans are a secret."

Interestingly, 8 is Mona's lucky number and she shares her birth date with her mother.

Last year Mona won the show Jhalak Dikhlajaa and this year she is hosting it with Rohit Roy. Karan, on the other hand, is hosting Zee Antakshari.

PS: We heard that Mona is getting a SUV (sport utility vehicle) as a birthday gift this year.
