Harshit Mudgal's love for cartoons has won him "The Nick Fundoo Superstar" contest while giving the opportunity to do a video album with Mona Singh (known as Jassi). The nine-year-old kid competed with four other children who made it to the contest.
"As soon as I reach home from school, I watch cartoons on Nickelodeon and Spongebob is my favourite cartoon character," says Class IV student of Amity International School, Noida. Like other kids, he also loves playing outdoor sports like basketball and cricket. But he loves cycling the most.
Accompanied by his family, Harshit reached Mumbai on May 7 for the rehearsals of the video. "I had a blast in Mumbai and made many friends as the whole crew was very friendly," says Harshit.
When asked about his experience of working with Mona, he says, "It was great working with her. She was quite friendly and used to play with us." Even his mother Parveen was left enchanted by Mona's amiable behaviour on the sets. Parveen says, "Mona is an amazing lady and very down-to-earth. She used to have her lunch on the sets with the whole crew, which came as a big surprise."
Harshit is presently enjoying his newly- acquired stardom, "My friends keep asking me about my experiences. In fact, few of them even asked for my autograph. It feels good," says Harshit, who wants to become a pilot, but would not mind trying his hands in acting.
An ardent fan of Shah Rukh Khan, Harshit would love to work with him in future and also in one of the Spider Man series. Ask her about his favourite actress from the tinseltown and Harshit promptly names Priyanka Chopra.
