So here's my thought:-

I think that when Papa Suri threatened Armaan tht he will divide Gulmohur if he broke all ties, even when Armaan told him tht he didn't luv Mallika-Armaan set his likes and his choices aside, as his luv for Gulmohur was greater. If u see all the epis I'm sure u'll agree to the fact tht, whatever Armaan ever did was just for Gulmohur-even his fake luv for Jassi was to save Gulmohur from going in Purab's hands- which he feared the most.

Armaan was a flirt but he still had the right to make his own choice of his life partner. He may hav pretended with Malika but don't u think papa Suri should hav much earlier told Mallika to forget Armaan as he was just not willing to be with her. Armaan may hav promised Mallika to marry her earlier when they were young, but its just not necessary for him to feel the same always, even when he grows up.

I know Armaan was the first to propose Mallika on the opening day and Mallika was the first to break the engagement, but do u think tht if at the very beginning Armaan would hav told Mallika directly tht he just doesn't want to marry her, she would hav accepted the fact normally. She would hav had a nervous breakdown, Puru would hav threatened Armaan emotionally, Ila would hav sympathized with Mallika instead of even listening to Armaan. Everyone would just hav blamed Armaan for every thing.

In Jassi's presence Armaan felt tht he also had emotions and was just someone more than the Chairman of Gulmohur and the 'well-known-flirt' and 'emotion-less' Armaan Suri, as he was "infamously" known. And this was way before Armaan faked his luv for Jassi. And I'm very sure tht he wouldn't hav done this fake luv business if Raj wouldn't hav forced him to do all this.

Why do u think Armaan changed so much after he fell in luv with jassi?? It was for the simple reason tht Armaan till then had actually been lonely, but finding jassi made him believe tht his choices were also important and he was someone who was also needed in this world.

But yes, as u said, everyone was grey, each with his/her own flaws and faults. But even now I think, there was no one who actually understood the real Armaan Suri, who was soft, sensitive, emotional and kind apart from jassi, which was the main reason which made Armaan fall in luv with Jassi.

Anyways last but not the least I feel tht if I luv some one truly- I would forgive all his mistakes and faults. I know all don't feel tht way but since I do, I said tht. (Sorry if I hurt u Tina di but tht is just my personal point of view.).

Waise bhi main toh apu se itni pyar karne lagi hoon ke yeh jante hua bhi ke woh onscreen Mallika aur Jassi ke sath and Chameli aur Kaajjal ke sath flirt kar raha hai, and not to forget SSA ke sath *ahem-ahem* kar raha hai- main use bahut pyar karti hoon.

And if he was my hubby and would hav told me that he likes another girl then I would definitely be sad but if tht would hav made him happy I would hav given him a divorce so tht he could marry her, not because I did be angry but because I did like to see him happy and I believe in the saying- "Set him free, if he comes back he is yours. If he doesn't he was never yours." (this is again just my opinion- no offence meant).

Thanks for reading my big post. I really didn't mean to offend anyone but just wanted to defend my luv, Armaan. I really wanted to express my feelings and all I said is just what I feel. No offence meant to any one and sorry to those whom I hav hurt. Please express what u all feel. 😊

Titli very sweet of you.. I think u have apoint abt Armu sharing his feeling with Jassi and thats why I think he was missing her so much when she went away and shared so much with her memoriesbut was glad to get her back since she helped him inderctly to find himself and true love 😳

That's so sweet of you, Titli. 😳 While I agree with Tina to the extent that Armaan was callous and selfish at times, I do feel that he had aright to "fall out of love" or to pursue his own choice of life partner. I also don't think he was responsible for Mallika's ruin...she at some point corssed the thin line between love and possessiveness, and her subsequent sufferings were due to this, not due to Armaan. The writing was there on the wall since almost th beginning of the serial; it just took Mallika far too long to realise Armaan did not love her. In my opinion, she was in denial.

And I agree with that quote--"If you love someone, let him go...if he comes back he is yours, if he doesn't, he was never yours." 😊

yes every thng is quite correct .in my opinion he should marry in reality also with mona singh as she is the perfect girl for him.
