Why did you begin to watch JJKN?

My mom watched it, and I saw a few epi's with her, and was hooked. The show had this freshness to it - unlike all the other soaps on Indian TV. This one was different - charming, entertaining (nix the saas-bahu rona-dhona nonsense), and also very clever. Though I missed a lot of the 1st year and a half or so, and then again the nainital episodes and stuff since I could only watch when I was home for the holidays, I always made sure mom kept me updated with the plot! :)

Are you kidding me? Definitely 11/10 - the show is one of a kind, never to be competed with. It was on a level all its own.

Favorite character and why?

ooh, fun! I would have to say NANDU! I thought his character was perfect. It would have been very easy for a character like this to get misused or handled incorrectly, but the role was just perfect. Nandu's "friendship" was never anything but. He was always there, as a friend, to support Jassi, and never crossed the limits of that friendship. I think it was just the best character sketch in the whole show - the character had substance, charm, and was just all together very well defined.
