And girls, I don't know about first love but I went through
at least 15 crushes starting age five till I went to college.I
certainely didn't attend any Kekta class.So probably my first
love was the guy I fell for ( he wasmy class monitor and
whenIasked him whom did he want to marry fully expecting he
wouldsay 'you' he turned around and said 'hela-manini' ).I was
five and so I should have waited till I found him again and he
would show remorse in having chosen 'hela manini'( we know
her better as Hema-malini)over me..........

Ok, what I don't get is why Armaan and Jassi are making such a
big deal about Jassi having someone in her past...all this guy
did was hold her hand and he told her I love you. I know I
always sound like a melting pot of immorality, but I don't get it.
How does a two day fling constitute as having someone in the
past???? They didn't do anything like u r supposed to do or
rather would want to do...

Jassi, technically does not have a past, except possibly Purab
considering she was supposed to marry him and didn't but
even still she wasn't in love with him and they were just friends.

So Minnie, this goes along the lines of your 15 crushes...this
doesn't mean you had a past unless you had a long term
relationship over a few months. What am I missing? Is Jassi
that much of a saint, that she can't even had a short term fling
without it being such a big deal?

To make things worse for myself finally yesterday, I saw that
Armaan remembered the time he told Jassi that he loved her
(so many episode ago), but to me it seems like she doesn't
remember those words coming out of his mouth and only thing
she knows is that he is her friend....basically after all this
rambling, I feel lost in this whole scenario between Jassi and
Armaan. If someone told me they loved me once upon a time, I
would wonder....hmmmm...does he still love me or is he my
friend or my enemy? I am sitting in front of my computer screen
making faces....

i completely agree.... though the way he followed her around, changed his home base from delhi to mumbai,kept going after her inspite of all the humiliation jassi piled on him during misunderstanding phase makes it seem more than plain old sympathy(maybe it was an overkill of sympathy or short sightedness on the part of writers/directors or purab was simply stupid). it hardly matters now....let us start viewing the show with an assumption that jassi only loved armaan and armaan only loved jassi truly in thier entire sorry lives
