At night, Jassi is telling Armaan about her encounter with Parvatlal in the ice-cream parlour. Armaan frowns and puts his arm protectively around Jassi.

"Jassi, yeh aadmi bilkul theek nahin hai…..kahin yeh sachmuch Cj se mila toh nahin hua?"
She raises her head to look at him.
J: Armaan, yeh kaise ho sakta hai? Wo dono toh ek doosre ko jaante bhi nahin…
A: Lekin unke bich mein ek common connection toh hai…..Anuj Shastri murder case!
J: But Armaan…..uss case ke baare mein Parvatlal ko jo bhi pata tha, usse Aryan ne bataya tha….aur CJ toh tab Nainital mein tha hi nahin….bhala wo dono kaise mile hue ho sakte hai?
Armu sighs and puts his cheek against hers. "I don't know, Jassi…….tumne suna hai na…. 'Chor-chor….mausere bhai' ?😛"
Jassi starts giggling. "I didn't know ki tumhe ye sab baate bhi karni aati hai!"
Armu: (giving her a killer look) Mujhe aur bhi bahut saari baati karni aati hai……jaanna chahogi? ☺️
She raises her blushing face to his, smiling meaningfully. He gently fans out his fingers to caress her cheek, and starts drawing closer and closer………

Their moment is shattered by the insistent buzzing of the phone. (KMHs!!!😡)
Armu mouths "Damn!😉" as Jassi pouts and picks up the phone reluctantly. Her annoyed "Hello?" changes to an exclamation of dismay as she listens to the voice at the other end. Armu watches her face, concerned. As she ends the call, he takes hold of her shoulders and gently asks what the matter is.
She tells him that G Kaka had called, with bad news: He had been trying to prove that CJ was in Nainital, not Delhi, the day of Samar's murder, but when he called the hotel in Delhi, he found that CJ had checked in that night and not left until the day after the murder, when he came to know about Samar's death. In other words, someone working for CJ had registered under his name in the hotel in Delhi, to throw suspicion off him.
This means that CJ has a very good alibi. The only proof they have against him is G Kaka's own account of how CJ had called him from Nainital the night before the murder.
Armu: (grimly) I knew it…..CJ itna chalak hai, wo khud ko bachaane ke saare raaste bana chukka hoga……but Jassi…..agar hum yeh prove kar sake ki uss raat hotel mein jo aadmi tha, wo CJ nahin koi aur tha…..after all, hotel mein koi toh uska chehra pehchaanta hoga…..
Jassi: (exasperated) Come on Armaan! Uss baat ko 8 saal ho gaye hai! Ab kaun milega jisse uss aadmi ki shakl yaad hogi? I mean…..Neha ko dekho…..wo tab se yaad karni ki koshish kar rahi hai ki uss raat ko kaunsa attendant duty pe tha…phir bhi nahin dhoond pa rahi hai…… (puts her head in her hands) ….lagta hai, hum Anuj Shastri aur Samar Oberoi ko kabhi insaaf nahin dila payenge……😭
Armu gently removes her hands and holds them in his own, close to his heart. "Tum aisa keh rahi ho Jassi? Babaji pe vishwaas karna tumhi ne mujhe sikhaaya hai na…? Aur Babaji hamesha sach ka saath dete hai…..i'm sure koi na koi raasta zaroor milega!"😊
Jassi sinks into his arms. Predictably enough, they are interrupted again, this time even more alarmingly. Ila knocks frantically at the door and tells them that a very upset Raj is there to meet them.
JandA pull on their dressing gowns and rush to the drawing-room, where a white-faced Raj is waiting for them.
Armu: Raj……itni raat gaye….what's the matter….?
Raj: Armaan…..Neha aur Nikki ko kisi ne kidnap kar liya hai! 😲😲😲
