Mallika: Well Mallika was this confident, high class, beautiful young lady, who was really proud of who she was. She loved Armaan a lot, and has been waiting ever since the serial has started to tie the knot with his Dream guy Armaan. Since she was so high class, beautiful and confident, she didn't understand a middle class, ugly, girl. And she was never able to undersand that why Armaan liked her and favoured her so much. Mallika was supposed to be a negative character, and she was a mouthful and was lots of time rude to Jassi. But she was not those typical Ekta Kapoor Vamps. She also believed in a Woman's pride and even gave the courage to Bindya, when she was going through a rough phase. She also really like Gulomohur, and never in her dreams she wanted to do anything bad for it, she wanted the Company to move forward. Being Armaan's girlfriend she was alwys very suspicious of Armaan's where-beings.

About Armaan and Mallika's relationship: Mallika always tried her best to maintain the relationship, but Armaan was never seriously involved, because of the facts that she was to suspicious of him, didn't help him much professionally and personally, she was Aryan's sister, and because she was a bit arrogant, and wasn't much fun-loving and didn't get along that well with Raj. But still he did liked her, and did share some good moments wth her, when they use to discuss their old college times.

Now my debate is, if Jassi didn't come in Armaan's life was it possible that Armaan and Mallika got together. My answer for this would be a total yes. Because Jassi was everything that Armaan wanted minus the looks, For Jassi Gulmohur was her heart and soul, she kept all armaan's secrets, she was fun-loving and got along with Raj also, she was also very philosophical and use to teach him lots of things through her Bebe, she was simple and not to complicated to understand. I don't know if Armaan and Mallika could've fell in love if Jassi haven't come, but she did minus both of their chances to come together, because there was no one like jassi, she had everything that Armaan sub-conciously wanted in a life partner.

So what do you guys think?

I think, you are right. Mallika was not totally a negetive character. She had grey shades. It was not her fault that she loved Armaan. But then again, I never understand people, who are rude to others-who have never harmed them! Mallika did not know & she could never have imagined Jassi to become Armaan's girl, had Jassi never told her so.So what was the reason behind her rudeness to Jassi? Just because, she was ugly or from middle class? I think, she was a spoiled '........' & in the end they totally spoiled Mallika's character-trying to kill Jassi like that! She was an independent woman & could have gone her way! Begging & Killing was not in her character 🤢
Any comments?

I agree with you there that Mallika wasn't like those KEkta vamps whose mission in life is to have 3431043 plastic surgeries and to have her claws around the "uncleji hero" 😆 at any cost. She was sophisticated, arroagant and class-conscious. But then, so was Armaan. SO why didn't they click together?

I think you have given some excellent reasons 👏 , but I would like to add one more: Mallika really made no effort to UNDERSTAND Armaan. At heart, he was this poor little rich boy who really had this burning desire to prove himself as Chairman and as a worthy son. Mallika cooperated with him for the good of Gulmohur, but did not really understand how much his Chairmanship meant to him and how desolate he would be if he failed to make his mark. Sometimes, out of snobbishness and possessiveness, she actually did Armaan more harm than good....like when she wanted him to have Pari as secretary even though she knew Pari was least capable for the job!

That was why Jassi was all that Armaan needed in a woman. COming back to your question, if Jassi had not come in thier lives, then YES, Armaan and Mallika would have got together and might even have lived quite happily in the beginning; but sooner or later the mental distance between them would have grown and torn the relationship apart. They might have stayed together for the sake of public apprearances, but at heart they would both be empty and lonely, especially Armaan.

.

If Armaan did not have Jassi... then he would continue to be the CASANOVA Armaan....Mallika was happy with this Armaan she knew since childhood.

I think Armaan would have been happy with Mallika too bec he would not have known Jassi then or anything better...

Armaan changed because of Jassi's love...So if there was no Jassi then no love.... then no reformed Armaan.

That means Armaan and Mallika would be happily married.

I think if arman had not met Jassi then he and Mallika would def would have gotten together .
Mallika inspite of having grey shades truely loved arman since her childhood and arman too loved her at some point of time but I guess her continuous suspicion of him and nagging made him distant from her and he felt that he could no longer share his feelings with her and hence his love for her dies even before Jassi came into his life . I dont blame Mallika for being suspicious and asking him a lot o questions coz arman was a casanova and did lie with her again and again and hence anyone would have done what she did .

Also I think Mallika showed that no matter what she would do the right thing for the company and would not do any fraud even if its for arman ( it was proven in many occassions when she refused to give arman's side coz he was wrong ).

yes she didnt like Raj coz again she knew that Raj was always influencing his friend thoughts.
The only problem that I had with Mallika was that she was def class conscious but then I remember an episode where she advised Bindiya when that girl whom her husband was having an affair with , modelled for GM . I also remember Mallika advising Maria and Veeru to stay comitted and love each other . I think those were good episodes where we got to see another side of Mallika who wasnt that bad and understood her employees problems.

Her only fault was that she loved arman a lot and hence she became quite insecure when arman spent a lot of time with Jassi and fought for her against Mallika .

I think the entire fault was on arman but again i thik their love ( atleast from arman's side ) died before jassi came into his life while her love for him remained steady.

I dunno, Tina......did Mallika REALLY love Armaan? I feel it was more PRIDE then LOVE. Mallika had this childhood dream of becoming Mrs. Armaan Suri and that prompted her to be insecure whenever Armaan ignored her. It was the fear of this dream being shattered, that made her believe she "loved" Armaan.

👏👏 nice blyton.

I just ADOREEE rakshanda BTW and I liked Mallika too. In fact, I liked her far more after a certain August 5th 😉 😆😆

Armaan was always Mallika's candy that she could have. Instead of GROWING with each other, they always argued. (that is okay after marriage ,, not before.. 😛 ). Armaan never really had such strong feelings for her (perhaps only when she was fake preggy? may be?? ) Mallika should have gone the distance to win Armu's heart and then hold on to it. Her pride ruined it for her. Jassi comparatively was nobody and she came and stole armaan from right under Mallika's nose with her sweetness . If Mallika TRULY loved Armaan, more than she loved herself, she would have made changes.. in her behaviour.

However, I did like the touchy things she said on Armaan's wedding day (before she became the sudden dulhan 😆😆). she was sad while armaan was getting married off.. to jassi and she said that she felt empty and lost. she never loved anyone but armaan 😭😭 I felt very very bad for her. The truth is, she didn't love any other man, but that is not enough. Yu have to love that other special someone MORE than YOURSELF.. (pre-marriage i am talking again 😆😆) ..
mallika loved armaan, but quite not enough.

Now comes my remark for which, I will get 100 slaps here.
I have the same complaint about jassi 😉.. what the hell was the whole naintal & maksad nonsense? Is this how you communicate with someone who is so dear to you 🤢🤢
but since A loves J, JandA forever!! 👏

i think half of the forum loves armaan more than J + M combined! 😉👍🏼

Qt di..after august discussion is not allowed. It wasnt in sync with any of the chracters 😉 .I still cannot forgive TD for August 5th.I still cant belive they had the guts to do that to their own lovely serial.Atleast they owed the audience something .
Infact I prefer Ekta.Atleast she makes no promise..She shows what she intends to show and we can well watch it without any expectations.
But TD ..... 😡 !!!

Between I loved Mallika...She was like a Feminist to me..I still cant believe she loved Armaan A big time jerk...But then love has it ways and Well Armaan does treat women with respect and equality and he's of the same high society( where actaullly Having a stable loving relationship is pretty difficult that too with a casanova like Armaan.Dont they say the page 3 society is pretty artificial and superflous!)
Anways even if jassi hadnt come in between..Armaan wouldnt have changed but I also belive Mallika and Armaan had no future.Sooner or later they would have broken up.Infact they wouldnt have married only in the first place..and if they had due to family pressure it would have ended in divorce.
Neither do they both try to understand each other nor was Armaan the stable guy who was ready to make a Lifetime commitment.I am sure he would swayed this direction and that direction for Mallike to ultimately throw him out...Infact it is kind of funny how being such a proud woman she was able to forsee his philandering ways and take him back everytime he flirted with one of his ex-gfs.
Even now I cant remember the number of times she threw the engagement ring oh his Face.Armaan and Mallika were a Typical high fashioned couple. They just looked good together..Like to stay together for some or the other obvious reason...but it definitely wasnt going to last wether jassi was there or not!

I dont have any doubts that Mallika loved Arman truely . She infact loved him like crazy , if Mallika indeed felt arman to be her prize possession then she wouldnt have cancelled the wedding when she found abt arman's cards to Jassi .

I think any woman in Mallika's place would feel insecure abt arman's ways coz the guy was such a casanova and a jerk that he never could remain faithful to any woman . I guess I can say that Mallika was unlucky in love, she chose the wrong man and he wasnt destined to be her life partner .

I dont think JJKN post aug 5th should be taken into consideration for character analysis and debates coz they messed it up big big time . So I am talking abt their characters before aug 5th and I can safely say that Mallika was one character who was a feminist and she did evoke respect .

she refused to help arman in his fraudulent ways whereas Jassi did . She wanted to say the truth to Puru uncle abt the fashion show disaster but arman didnt .She helped and made Bindiya understand the situation and gave her encouragement. She again made veeru and maria understand love and also left them without any reprimand . Theonly person she was rude to was with Jassi coz somehow Jassi always took arman away from her and Mallika was even more insecure coz arman never spent time with her and also coz she knew his wavering ways .
