Who is SPORTING a sexy new image?

David Beckam has been voted the sexiest sports stars of all times.

Facts first: according to a recent survey conducted by a research firm called Onepoll, David Beckham is the sexiest sports star of all times while Wayne Rooney has been voted as the ugliest sports icon. Back home in India, which sportsmen and women can be rated as the sexiest? KT asks the celeb brigade...

According to actor Roshni Chopra, Rahul Dravid is the sexiest sport star in India. Roshni, who has been associated with cricket for a while as a compere, opines, "Frankly, most sport stars could be called very attractive as they have a very 'raw' image. However, 'Rahul Dravid has a different appeal altogether. Among the younger lot, I think Dhoni, if styled well, looks very dashing."

Television actor Mona Singh aka Jassi agrees with Roshni as she says, "If we talk of sexy Indian sports stars of all times, I can't really think of anyone but Mahinder Singh Dhoni. He has the looks, style and an overall attractive personality. He looks super sexy!" 😃

Mona gets still more candid while picking an unattractive sports star as she says, "I am surprised to learn that Rooney has been voted as the ugliest sports star of all time.😕 There's something very uniquely stylish about him – perhaps that's why he has a stunning girlfriend like Coleen McLoughlin. 😆 For sports stars, their sex appeal lies in their style and I think Sourav Ganguly's style is not appealing at all!" 😆😆😆

"The craze for cricket in India is unparalleled and even I am really fond of this game. That's the reason why I could only think of cricketers for the list," 😆😆 says Mona by way of reason.

And she's bang on target, because cricket stars indeed have the maximum recall value. Actor Sangeeta Ghosh also names a cricketer as the sexiest sports star of all time. "My favourite player keeps changing every now and then, but when it's the question of the sexiest sports star of all times, I think nobody can replace Kapil Dev. 👏👏😳 There have been better looking cricketers, but there's something about Kapil Dev that puts him in a class apart. 👍🏼 His voice adds to his charm. As for the most unattractive sports star, I can't think of anyone specific. However, all I can say is that every good looking man has an ugly side to him too, except Kapil Dev, of course!" 😆😆

Nevertheless, there are a few people who think beyond cricket and ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani is one of them. "When I have to think of sexy sports stars, Sania Mirza rules the roost. She's fabulous."

"I don't think there have been any sports stars in India who could be categorised as sexy, so I can't think of any one name as the most unattractive sports person," he adds. Maybe Ravi Shastri would like to say something to that?
