Archiving this section. Your views? - Page 2

For me, IF means JJKN forum. If this gets archived, I don't think I will be visiting here anymore. 😭 I think if a show is still popular and respected, the forum should be allowed to continue. Every second day we have requests from new members about videos or updates. Where will these new members go after the forum no longer exists?

In order to save server space, is it possible to archive the older threads? Most of them are locked anyway. They can be moved to the JJKN daily update section which is already archived.

While many JJKN members have moved to the Kaajal forum, those who are not die-hard fans of APu feel a bit uncomfortable there. Also, like many others here I feel that this place should be active at least till MOna's new show comes along. I'm doing my bit to keep this place going by my imaginary updates and so is Tina by her rerun updates. I think if so many ppl are emotionally attached to the show, the Dev team should consider their sentiments.

So my vote goes for a big NO!!

P.S. I just checked out the first page and saw that the Vaidehi, ADHM, KYPH , DYND, Akela and Fame Gurukul forums are still active. And this is only for Sony. SO i think the Dev team should consider archiving these sections first as most of them are not half and popular as JJKN.

Oh Blyton I felt so sad after reading your post. Its so true that JJKN is our cyber home. I actually look forward to reading all the posts. Not to mention discussing the episode and your lovely episodes updates.

Hope they decide against archieving it...

😭 😭 Blyts, no, pls don't say that! 😭 😭 can they limit the sapce they have given us instead of closing the sections? they could perhaps remove some bigger threads and stuff.. DUMB and DUMBER in computer here.. i was wondering alternative to closing.

See this is what I was afraid of,Blyti is already saying that she might leave.And I know many more who will say the same thing 😭

I am actually a silent member who has been visiting this section for years now, reading the updates of my favorite show, watching the videos and enjoying seeing all the amazing discussions that have gone on.Coming to this section and reading the rerun updates, blyton's updates, and reading all the latest news on mona and apoorva, is one of the highlights of my day. This section is very much needed to keep alive the memory of a beloved, unique show..please don't archive it as jjkn is one of the few shows that gains fans even after it has ended- as long as people love this show, it deserves to have a place in this forum.

No pls dont archive this section. If if gets archved i won't come to IF anymore. 😭

And many of us are watching the re-runs and updating and stuff like that 😭

I also saw lot of members asking why other sections are still open. We are also thinking about archiving those sections, so it's not going to be JJKN section only....and as i said before this thread is to know what members think so we have not decided to archive....but want to know what all members think as well 😳

okayyyy...my heart has almost stopped reading the title!
But after reading your guys views, a feel much better. Archiving this section would definitely be sad. Like most people...the only basic and simple reasons of joining IF was only for the JJKN forum. I made my first post in the JJKN forum, my golden post, my dazzling post, and my rocker post...its all in here! The members of this forum were my first ever IFian friends...

The idea of opening a Jassi FC sounds awesome...but i get worried, if we open it, will people still come there??? Will people forget to go there? If this section gets archived- would all the members be willing to go to fan club section to discuss? Will you take all the articles and pictures that you find and post them there?

Who all is willing to do this?
I can cooperate with any decision taken...

If there is an FC opening, then can i start it soo I can still do MOTW's and edit the title? Because i enjoy being part of my JJKN family n community....
