On the way back from the hospital, Armaan halts the car midway for a little rest. They get hold of a roadside dhaba and have tea. Both the JandAs look very downcast.
Angel stretches out her leg and groans. "Ouch…..!"
Chaman: (concerned) Kya hua ji?
Angel: Abhi bhi thoda sa pain hai….i think mujhe doctor ki advice follow karni chahiye….i think I'll go for a little walk…Armaan, hum thodi der toh rukenge na?
Armaan nods. Chaman gets up with her. "Main bhi aapke saath chalta hun…..anjaan sadak par aapko akele nahin chalna chahiye….."
Angel agrees quite happily😃, and the two set off, Chaman supporting her lightly as she limps along. Nandu and Beauty exchange knowing glances. Then they look at JandA's faces, and nod in agreement.
Nandu: (getting out) Beauty, I think hame bhi ek choti-si walk le leni chahiye….baithe-baithe bore ho gaye….
Beauty readily complies, and they set off, giving JandA their much-needed privacy.
Left alone, Armaan gazes morosely at Jassi.
Armu: Jassi, tum sachmuch next week hospital chale jaogi….mujhe toh har pal tumhare saath rehne ki aadat pad gayi hai….
Jassi: (grabbing his hand) Armaan….i know, mujhe bhi bahut ajeeb sa lag raha hai, tumse alag hote hue….lekin yeh zaroori hai na?
Armu nods reluctantly. Taking her face in his hands, he gazes at her hungrily for a long time.😳 Jassi puts her hands over his, but does not remove them from her face😉. She whispers, "Kya dekh rahe ho?"
Armu: (sighing) Main iss pal tumhe apne dil m ein utaar lena chahta hun…taaki tum mujhse kabhi alag na ho saku…..
Jassi: Oh Armaan…..(placing her head on his shoulder) I'll miss you so much….tum mujhse milne aate rahoge na?
Armu: (gazing at her with a naughty twinkle in his eyes) Aata rahunga? Jassi, I'll make sure ki main tumhare paas hi rahu….maine hospital ke peeche ek room rent pe le liya hai…aur main wahaan se tumhe roz milne aaunga….subah se shaam tak tumhare paas baith kar hospital ke poore staff ko pareshaan kar doonga…… bas raat ko waapas jaana padega….sadly…..(winks naughtily😉)
Jassi: (going red) Armaan Suri! Hamara bachcha yeh sab sun raha hai…..!!
Armu: (nonchalantly) Sunne do na sweetheart! (kisses her cheek impulsively❤️)
Needless to say, by the time the others come back, JandA have pretty much consoled themselves!😉
