Now Jassi has a brother!

If Armaan (Apoorva Agnihotri) acquired a sister called Angel (Rakhi Tandon) last week, can Jassi (Mona Singh) be far behind in the sibling race? Enter Chaman, Jassi's long-lost cousin, who she considers as the brother she never had. Ravi Gosain, best remembered as Nigoda from the Zee daily Amanat, plays Chaman in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. At present he is seen as Nikhil in Ehsaas — Kahani Ek Ghar Ki on Doordarshan. "I am doing films, so there was no time left for television assignments," says Gosain who is currently shooting for Jassi in Amritsar. He took on this offer because it was a nice, light role and that too with Jassi. His character of Chaman is a hardcore film buff that idolises Govinda. "I call myself Chaman No 1 after Govinda's Hero No 1," says Gosain about the role. "He dresses up and behaves exactly like Govinda. He is outrageous. His only ambition is to be a Bollywood star and come to Mumbai," he adds. The reason why Gosain has been roped in for Jassi is to add an element of mirth in the show post the recent long-drawn courtroom drama. "Chaman is Jassi's maternal aunt's son. Jassi and her family including Nandu (Gaurav Gera) are in Amritsar to meet up with their relatives and visit the Golden Temple. Jassi especially bonds with Chaman and they have a blast," says Gosain. The Amritsar schedule will also have some local actors in the show. "There will be lots of funny moments in the serial, especially as Jassi and family are totally relaxed — the case has been left behind." On the film front, Gosain will be seen in Kalpana Lajmi's Chingari, Junaid Memon's The Film and an Indo-British production called Agreement. He was earlier seen in Hazaar Chaurasia Ki Maa and Raja Bhaiyya. Jassi, Armaan engagement The episodes that will unfold in the location shoot in Amritsar will have Jassi and Arman getting engaged. Though her family is overjoyed, Armaan's side is not particularly impressed by the happenings. There will also be an episode shot at the Golden Temple in which Jassi and her family will be shown fulfilling a vow.

Yesterday evening when I was taking a stroll, I met Arman's twin brother, Raj Malhotra's daughter, Mallika's ex husband, Nandu's father and so many other characters on the road. They were all on their way to Amritsor.

Angel's to be fourth husband was trying hard to catch up with them.

Yea..........Pari was standing in one corner trying to attract the attention of rich handsome eligible bachelor Mr. Purab Mehra who was on his way to Canada in his super sonic.

wow i am waiting to see all the fun in amritsar....after so many doses of courtroom drama and pkd's wandering all around..this is a welcome change and esp if arman-jassi are together and having fun.....so even if its filmy...i really feel its going to be fun esp after watching yesterdays episode

OH Blue, you forgot to mention Billu's first wife. U see I found out that Jassi is not Amrit's real daughter. This is what happen. Jassi's real mom died giving birth to her and before she did she gave Jassi to Amrit to raise and to marry her husband because at that time, Amrit and Jassi's mom were best friends.

So..all this unfolds as Jassi is going to get married, but after she finds out she can't get over it.
