JandA are driving back happily from the doctor's. Jassi is resting her head on Armaan's shoulder and has her hand possessively around his elbow.😉 He keeps stealing glances at her from time to time. His face breaks into an adoring grin. He kisses the top of her head. Jassi looks up, her eyes reflecting both shyness and mischief. 😳😳😳
On the way back, they stop at the Walias' to tell them about what the doctor said. Everyone is elated to know that the doc has given Jassi the green signal to travel. Chaman is squirming with excitement when Billu suddenly says, "Par main soch raha hun…kissi na kissi ko toh peeche rukna hi chahiye……kyun Chaman, tu reh ja yahan….Amritsar toh tu baad mein jayega hi….."
Chaman gulps. Bebe mischievously puts her word in, "Haan beta, hum toh pata nahin phir kab ja payenge....yahaan ghar ki rakhwali ke liye koi toh hona chahiye na…"
Chaman tries to say something but ends up blubbering. Billu bursts out laughing at his expression. "Abe gadhe, main toh mazaak kar raha tha…! Main achchi tarah jaanta hoon tu hum sab ke saath kyun chalna chahta hai…..warna tujhe to sheher ki aisi hawa lagi hai ki tu isse chodne ka naam na leta!"
Chaman goes red with embarrassment. Billu continues, "Aur waise bhi…..yahaan ki rakhwali ke liye yeh hai na….apna Nandu."
Nandu and Beauty exchange agonized glances.
Nandu: (hurriedly) Uncleji, main soch raha tha…main bhi aap logon ke saath chalu….kaam kar kar main thoda sa thak gaya hun…thoda change ho jayega…
Armaan grins naughtily to himself.😛😆
Armu: (with mock alarm) Nahin nahin Nandu…tumhari to iss waqt Gulmohur mein bahut zaroorat hai….tumhare aur Raj ke zimme toh main yeh sab chod ke ja raha hun…!
Billu: Haan haan beta, bilkul theek kaha….iss gadhe ka toh kaam mein man waise bhi nahin lagta…achcha bahaana mil gaya hai, chhuti lene ka…
Nandu looks pleadingly at Beauty, who looks pleadingly at Jassi, who looks pleadingly at Armaan, who looks as if he is enjoying himself enormously.😃
Armaan: (exaggerated sigh) Theek kaha Papaji…par agar Nandu sachmuch tired hai, toh shayad…..lekin phir Raj yeh sab akele kaise handle karega..?
Billu is about to say something but Bebe signals to him to keep quiet. Armaan continues, "Nandu, tum Raj se baat kar lo…agar usse koi aitraaz nahin hai toh mujhe bhi koi problem nahin hai…"
Nandan Verma is naturally none to pleased at the prospect of pleading with Raj Malhotra, with whom he has no love lost. 😕But Beauty implores him with her eyes and he nods. "Theek hai Armaan…..main kal Raj se baat karunga!"
Jassi glares at Armaan but he winks impishly at her. She tries unsuccessfully to keep a stern face. But Armu puts his arm around her and she leans into him, giggling.😳 Everyone is plunged into bonhomie.😊
