Everyone was going gaga over it so I thought it must be another one of the teeny-bopper love stories and couldn't be bothered with watching it. Then I saw an interview of hrithik taken by Mayur just about a month after the release of KNPH. And Hrithik's simplicity, lack of SRK-like filmi airs and honesty totally bowled me over. At that time although he knew that KNPH was a hit, he wasn't yet aware what a huuuuuuuge hit it would turn out to be. And he was so casual and his answers so cute - like the boy next door.

I still remember Mayur asked him that Valentine's day was round the corner and he would be recieving lots of mail - would he answer them personally? And he said - of course. If someone has gone to so much pains to take out a piece of paper and pen to write to me, then the least I can do is reply!!! 😆 I don't think he had any idea at the time of how many letters he would be swamped with!!! 😆

LOL,apparently,he received 40,000 marriage proposals😆😆😆....and th number of fan mails were infinite😆..Poor thing,he wasnt expecting that

Hehehe! :) I have yet to see the movie, but I'm sure now that I've read your analysis, I'll enjoy it a lot more when I do see it.

Apart from being a huge M and A fan, I'm most likely the biggest Hrithik fan here, and therefore, would like to thank you for what you said in complement to him. :)

I really want to see this movie now... I have heard a lot and moreover after reading ur views seems to be a decent movie.
After watching KNPH, Hritik's innocence and not-touched kind of feel made me think about Aamir as he was in QSQT.. He had the same innocent , teenage, honest look and specially when he was singing the song "Papa kahte hain"...
Hritik still has that "I am still untouched, pure, boy-next door" kind of look whereas Aamir does not.
