Do internet polls reflect reality?

Do Polls matter?
I ve seen ppl quoting setindia and indiatimes polls to show how purab is oh-so-popular. but the question is do the internet polls reflect the true picture? 99% of indian population do not have access to internet. so most of the ppl voting for indiatimes and setindia polls are prolly nris rather than ppl living in india. contrast these polls w/ trps. trps have shown a huge fall ever since purab made his second comeback. when he came in the show was getting trps of around 4. the week when jassi agrees to marry purab the ratings are 2.9. so jjkn has actually LOST viewers all the while purab has been around.

yes..logically purab maybe a sane choice for a girl to marry. but he is a bad choice to make a serial interesting..that too a serial which has to face ekta kapoor's onslaught. in the end it will be the trps which will determine who ends up w/ whom. i wonder how purab's fans will rig the trps?
