Thank you buffie for doing the updates day after day, month after month.I have not been a very active member for IF but would come here often to read your posts. Somwhere this show had touched a deep cord in my heart.
May be because of the beauty of relationship between Appu and Mona both onscreen and off screem. All of their interactions reminded me of the beautiful memories of the past.

I remember the time in India a decade age when cell phones were not common, my friend's boy friend was going away from her city to Mumbai via train.He had still not confessed his real feelings towards her, so he would get down at any random railway station leaving all his luggage in the train and call her via any public phone booth,just to hear her voice.That was so romantic.This isn't any movie but real life incident.she still gets goosebumps while recalling that incident anything that comes close to that is the "Tu meri jaan hai song". They had fallen in love with each other but had not realised it.As destiny would have it they are not together now, but both of them still deeply love each other and wish the best for each other.

I think that is true for Appu and Mona as well. Apu's laugh when he asked his "Jazzberry" if she was happy with "him" not the show said it all. Zindgi mein kuch rishton ke naam nahin hote. bus eshass hote hain. Dear
