I didn't realize meeting a fellow Ifian would be so difficult. We decided to meet at a place called Aryan. Initially, her parents wanted to accompany her. They'd sit at a separate table so we could have our "privacy", they said. Well, I don't really blame them. After all I could have been a kidnapper or a three-legged monster!!! 😆 Anyway, she somehow managed to convince them that i was short and thin just like her and couldn't even say boo to a cow and they let her come on her own.
So I arrived 10 mins early - after all, I was the older one and didn't want her parents to get a wrong impression of IF. Lashy, hope you are listening 😃 While I was waiting, people started giving me that look and whispering to each other - "she's waiting for her boyfriend," "pssst - I think she's having an affair!!!" 😆 I began to panic - what if Prachi didn't turn up? My family would never let me live it down. As it is, they simply couldn't comprehend how I managed to be friends with a person so much younger than myself.
But our dear dear Prachi turned up at exactly 6.30, impeccably dressed in a trendy top and jeans and a beautiful pair of earrings and perfectly painted nails 😳. The people in the restaurant got quite a shock when I got up to hug her and not the boyfriend that they were expecting 😆
We were together for 45 mins and strangely enough, we talked non-stop!!! I just did not feel as though I was meeting her for the first time!!! We talked about any and everything I think. I'll let Prachi fill you in on that.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Prachi was exactly how I had imagined her. She is as sweet to talk to and look at, as her avi 😳 I will always treasure those moments spent with her. Added to that was the thrill and anticipation of meeting a person whom you know and yet don't know!!! It almost felt like going on a blind date 😳😆
Ok Prachi, let's have your side of the story 😊
