PLEASE DO NOT POST REPEAT TOPICS

Dear All,

Recently it has been noticed that many members keep posting the same topic over and over again.That floods the section with the same subject under several new headings which is not only very confusing and frustrating,but clogs the data base of the IF as well. For example,sometimes there are 5 different topics of the same day review by 5 different members. Similarly,many members just post,say,their admiration of a actor or the criticism of an actor and use a new topic instead of adding to the already existing similar topics which ends up making this section look like a fan mail club.

My request is that please take a little time to go over the posts of the previous few pages and if the subject U want to post about has a similar topic that is already listed in those pages,then just add to it.That way,your topic gets posted and a pushed back topic gets revived as well.

Please use the new topics to add new interesting subjects which have not been discussed for at least a certain period of time.

I'll give another example. Suppose I want to post about Mallika's actions and their justifications. So I will go back a few pages and find that such a topic has already been written by one member a few days back.So now if I add to that,my feelings get posted,and a very interesting topic gets revived.

I will also take this opportunity to add one more thing I said before,Please stop spamming this section by simple posting I love yous and I hate yous. From now on, all the topics which do not have any substancial discussion subjects and are of general fan mail nature and have a tendency to repeat themselves at intervals shall be deleted without any prior notice. So please back up your posts with reasons and be sure they are related to the going ons in the serial.

So the topics like ' I love you Apurva/ Armaan-U r the best' or 'I love U Sameer/Purab-U r the best' shall be shredded by the moderator's scissors promptly. All this is being done to keep this section interesting and ticking with vibrant topics and fascinating discussions and we cannot do without your co-operation. We are greatful to all of you for making our forum such a super success and a little more effort on our part will go a long way in keeping this forum the best.

I second that Minnie. Sometimes I wanna cry out loud to find an update because it gets lost in all the repetitive posts that have been there already :(. And please do not post anything in the update section.

I totally agree with you Minnie. I myself have noticed this too. The JJKN General Discussion Mods and Global Mods have been trying to control this issue for sometime now. We have posted all kind of different warning and all that, but for some reasons I feel they are being ignored.😕 Still a lot of new topics are being started with the same thing over and over again. A lot of same article are being posted again and again.

I don't know about Minnie and the other JJKN General Discussion Mods, but I am personally getting really frustrated with this. When I come online the first thing I do is read the update. Then I go to JJKN General Discussion. Almost all the time, I read about 5 topics with same subject, but are in different threads. This is waisting other members time as well as the Mods time. So guys please DO NOT DO THIS.
