Seriously,Jassi is just glued to Armaan.She doen't glorify him & can see beyond him( he did propose to her & she knew he was not serious).Any self respecting person would have run miles away .Instead she just went to Alibaugh & came back to her Armaaaaaaan Sir SSSSSsssssssh with lots of baggage on her emotions.You can't really suffer so much at someone's hands & still want to stay close to him unless you really love him.

Jassi is just coming to terms with the fact that Armaan probably won't really love him.That's why she tore up the diary & said yes to Purab.Not really different for an Indian girl because they are conditioned not to give love much consideration in marriage.
