ARCHANA PURAN SINGH's wedding Page ..

June 30, 1994.

At my mother's home in Andheri.

Parmeet Sethi.

I wore a powder pink salwar kameez and Parmeet wore a white shirt over powder pink trousers and a paghdi.

Love.

We were courting for 4 years and later we were in a live-in relationship for another 4 years before we tied the knot.

We didn't have an engagement. But he gave me a small
diamond solitaire for the wedding.

Solidity and fidelity.

The biggest expense was the lunch after the wedding at Copper Chimney, which cost Rs.2000. In fact we had a splendid
wedding for just Rs. 5000.

It was a traditional Hindu ceremony with pheras.

The mahurat was for 10 am and by 2 pm I had to go for a shoot
of Aashiq Aawara. While the pundit was chanting mantras, my stylist called up. My friends started giggling, as it was probably
the first time a bride was talking on the phone while her shaadi mantras were being recited.
