CID Special Bureau to take season break

A still from CID Special Bureau Is Sony's CID Special Bureau going off the air? If the buzz this weekend is to be believed, actors on the show have already been briefed about the series coming to an end. Katial's ouster behind this? "Yes I have heard that Special Bureau is taking a bow. I think the channel wants to rework their line-up, which is why this is happening," said an actor from the show. Another theory doing the rounds is that all the shows handled by former business head Tarun Katial will be taken off the air, starting from Kudkudiya House No 43. (was jjkn started by katiyal....i hope jjkn gets a renewal.....let all of ghatiyal's shows end...cid, kyph kkd#43 etc etc....i hope jjkn is continued) We spoke to Yash Patnaik, supervising producer for Fireworks, the production house that handles CID, to get his version. "The show isn't going off air, it's just taking a season break around mid-March. The format that we work in requires us to constantly reinvent ourselves." Sources indicate that if Special Bureau comes back after a break, it may not necessarily have the same team. Some actors may be retained, while others may have to quit. When asked, Yash said, "I can't comment on this, the channel will decide when the time comes." Thrilling plans He added that Fireworks is in the process of producing an hourly supernatural series on the lines of Aahat. "Thrillers have been our forte, so why not come up with better ones? We will be hitting the floor very soon with this new project."

welllll.... Fear factor & Kandy FLoss are all going to be on Friday..SET's new shows KF and FFI will be on F-R-I-D-A-Y..what will SET do if they end JJKN..none of their shows are as popular...

AND..JJKN yet has to show Pari & Maddy's track; and since Maddy is negative we have to go through his DRAMA; and then the Sheeewwwwlii track and whichever way that goes--Aitraaz or Armaan or both...and the miscarriage..and DF getting GM back; and JandA personal wars; and J not knowing Armaan is a director; etc etc etc etc etc....and twists and turns are an intergral part of the story..so who knows what will happen in future..

and this means JJKN will not end soon and might get an extension..and if that happens I will be soooo happyyyyyyyy😃

anyways..when you read the FFI post refer to this post..I cant say the same thing on two posts...

To answer your question, buffie, no, Katial was never in charge of JJKN..the show started before he was with the channel.

CID will still continue but it will be CID Special Bureau that will end 😡 thats such a good prog. aswell!! most of the jjkn ppl have come on it in the past- Nandu, Maddy, Rhea, Armaans dad (Puru) etc... this week there is Shulli's dad on it too! Rajeev Khandelwal also did a cameo on this show 😊 its great to watch and u get to learn new stuff all the time whereas in saas-bahu serials (ekta's) all u learn is- have a child, then get married by force, have a miscarriage, have a divorce, another child, marrage, miscarriage and divorce (x10000)
