The present story and Apurva's performance proves beyond doubt what an injustice they did to everyone.I feel so saddened that a story like JJKN had to suffer because of the insensitiveness of the makers and it's channel.😡😡😡 I wish the lost viewers would at least give a chance to JJKN's actual story. But as u said jprasad,we can't do anything about it and only wish we can get across the message to Apurva and Mona what a beautiful job they are doing.

I honestly think T&DS are being wrongly accused, time and time again. See what happened when the channel was holding the reins and dictating the storyline...... while Purab WAS being portayed as Mr. Flawless Perfection.. wasn't the disinterest of the makers evident in the slackened pace of the story, the zillions of bloopers and utter confusion.... Compare this with what JJKN is today, it's got a new lease of life becos the makers are being allowed to do what they do best - show beautiful stories on screen. There always exists an unequal power equation between the makers and the corporates... I see no reason to believe otherwise in this case. It's evident that T&DS will never go public with their discontent becos they're here to survive and prosper. It's really not that hard to read between the lines, though!

I feel like crying for Mona and Apoorva. It is like no one is
giving them a second chance. I wonder, how do shows like
Kkusum and those other saas bahu kahani's supercede? I
think the more terrible acting takes place on those shows. One
sister marries the love of the other sister, constant evil plotting
going on and those shows are doing great. No complaints
there and no lost viewers.

Im my opinion JJKN lost its viewers because how they treated Purab's characters. The director and script writer first made ppl love Purab ( no need to say why) and then one fine day they dropped him and then treated the character like it never existed. There was no mention of him when Jessi was reminising about her life, he was made an integral part of Jassi's family and then after his departure .no mention of him by anyanyone (what were the dirctors and producers thinking !!!!)

I am not a Purab/Armaan fan. I was one of the persons who liked JJKN because of its story and Jassi's character. But if this is what she is then I am happy that JJKN has lost its viewers …who wants to watch the serial after that.

I know the serial is based on Colombian serial – but when have our directors/script writers ever held true to the original story …

Hey, Queenbee. You have a valid point. However, I still wish
that Purab wasn't brought into the picture, it has virtually led to
the demise of JJKN and again I am just saddened that JJKN
had to loose so many viewers over this. It is quite apparent that
people are unable to get past Purab.

I very much agree with you, it does seem that T&D have a new
lease on life. T&D's new enthusiasm is very apparent through
Jassi and Armaan performance. And reading your comment
regarding that put a smile on my face in the midst of all this
sadness that I feel. Thanks for that, Queenbee.

I really hope that people can get past Purab and enjoy the
remaining time that we have with JJKN.

IFVJ -

I am sorry that you feel bad about how Samir Soni departed.
No one can do anything about it. However, the story has a
taken a new life and it is going great now.

And you know what, actually after saying everything I had to
say in defense of JJKN, I am gonna go back to watching YMLH.
This is my second favorite show. I stopped watching because I
very saddened about what was going on. Anyway, it has a
taken a fresh turn so maybe things will improve from here on
YMLH.

thnx for the info sonynyu

the way I see it is that JJKN lost its viewers because they handled the story wrong......Jassi's doormat attitude was dragged out tooooo long, her principals that were the life of the show were not consistent with her actions.....coupled with these was the fact that the would-be-reformed-rake was showing no signs of reforming.....the story was going in circles

The audience was getting tired of all this....hence when Purab entered, all expectations were put on him.....his exit again muggled up the storyline as the story was being built up to another ending......

I think if the storyline/pace was what it has been for the past few days with the acting as strong, the viewers would have been glued to their screens......

Actually SONY did'nt have problem with Purab. The thing is that, if Purab was not shown leaving the series then he JJKN would have ended there itself since Jassi would get married to Pura. But they needed to extend JJKN, so the script writers had no other solution but to say goodbye to Purab and extend the story. Also SONY wanted to extend Jassi till Indian Idol ends because they will use Indian Idol's high TRP's to promote the show replacing Jassi. That's why Purab went away.

Last thing, for Purab fans, SONY should bring him back atleast for a couple of episodes! That will make all the JJKN viewers happy. No matter Jassi marries Armaan!!!

Sorry to say that purab was not said good bye to extend jjkn further, but the opposite is true!!!! purab's whole story is actually an extended version and now what is showing is the original version! extension of purab character is the biggest mistake so far! mahabharat me sabko karan ka character achchha lagta hai, lekin iska matlab ye nehi ke viewers chahta hai isliye karan jit jaye aur arjun maar jaye! karan ko hamesha hi maarna parta hai! aur hamesha arjun hi jitta hai! Because that is the story! eisa kahi bhi aur kabhie bhi nehi hua ke kuchh darshak ki chahnese directors story ko hi badal de, then there is no need of directors at all! in the same way this was, is and will be the story of arman and jassi only, and purab always was, is and will be only a side character, may be he is very very good!!!!

Muccha and Rumi, you are BOTH right.... muccha is getting into the head of the Channel Head and Rumi is getting into the head of the Head Scriptwriter... so lets not bang our heads here 😉😆
