Atharv Sujata's devotion for Vividha takes my breath away. He can get hurt for her, he can die for her, he will take her to the ends of the earth for her happiness simply because he has given his heart and soul to her.
But at the same time, Atharv's heart is in turmoil. Vividha had asked him to help her find Ravish who is not only his brother, but the man who was married to Vivi for 3 months. The man who Atharv thinks Vividha has some feelings for and who could take him away from him forever.
Today Atharv did everything he could to fulfil his promise to Vivi of bringing back Ravish. With Vividha's hand in his, he helped her cross the border illegally, navigating through the cold weather and rough terrain, not once letting go of her hand, assuring her that he was with her every step of the way.
At one point when tired Vividha sat down on a rock, Atharv took her hand in his rubbing it gently comforting her so that she knew he was by her side. But as a scared Vividha voiced her worry for Ravish, Atharv's insecurity showed.
Despite everything that had occurred the day before between them, Atharv still felt that Vividha wanted to save Ravish because she felt more then she was admitting. The fact that he avoided all eye contact was a testament to the fact that he was still afraid of losing her. Even as they crossed the water and he held her to stop her from falling, when Vividha gazed into his eyes with love and complete trust, he looked away, still unsure, still troubled.
Atharv spotted a tawiz on Vividha and on asking about it, she told him that she had been given it as a protection. When the tawiz fell in the water, Atharv went specially to get it back for her. It was a protection for Vividha and no matter what the situation or what his feelings were, he would do anything to keep her safe with whatever means there was. Later on, when Atharv asked Vivdha why she had tied the tawiz with a note on the cutest little lamb they had freed, Vivi told him that it wasn't necessary for her to wear the tawiz to keep her safe. But the truth was, Vividha had her protection. Atharv was the wall who would keep her safe from all harm. She didn't need anything or anyone else.
Throughout their journey, Atharv protected Vividha from hurt and pain. When a terrorist stood on Vividha's hand, it took all his self control not to push the man away, stopped by Vividha as she knew they couldn't alert the terrorists to their presence. But the minute he could, Atharv took over that pain, once again shielding Vividha.
And in the end, when Vividha worried for Ravish, Atharv asked him if he trusted her, because he would never let anything happen to Ravish.
Ever since yesterday, there has been a pain in Atharv's heart. Vivi accused him of not trusting him to save Ravish and today Atharv did everything in his power to show Vividha he could be relied on. He still has insecurities about Vividha's feelings for Ravish but he just doesn't want to face the issue right now. When they spent the night together, it wasn't a physical need for Atharv, it was an act of pure love. Atharv nearly lost Vividha and that fear overwhelmed him. But it is still there haunting him. In his mind he wonders if she will eventually leave him when they find Ravish.
And for Vividha, Atharv is all she needs and wants. The trust that she shows after spending the night with him, proves what he means to her. Her life begins and ends with his. There are no doubts, no regrets, just pure love. And today, all she could do was gaze at the man with adoration in her eyes for the devotion and unconditional love he bestows on her.
