JNDSD~ my take 24th January 2017 ~ Harmony of task and word

In life there are instances where we encounter duties and tasks that have to be met, expected to undertaken, across the board on various fronts.. professional , academic, familial or matters of the heart .In our ways of life, obligations are rendered to prove our reliability, and sometimes to protect ourselves from blame. For today's episode.. Ravish actually sets the tone when he uses two terms, responsibility and promise before Vividha. He refers to fulfilling his duty, to me it incorporates the promise he made to his father .That he would ensure as an obedient, responsible son, Vividha /Atharva's union materializes. Alongside, he also attempted to establish Atharva and Sujata to their rightful status and role in Vashisht household.. Now the other issue was to honor an oath he gave to Vividha . To fulfill the undertaking he verbally gave to her that as soon as Atharva is both mentally and physically whole.. he would ensure they unite and that he would set her free.. thus Ravish both as a true son to his father and an unrequited husband rather smoothly meets high standards of accountability, trustworthiness and obedience..

It is well noted that Ravish is in his disruptive pattern camouflage commando uniform is used by CVs, to spell out swift, thought out irreversible tactical decision making. The soldier is not here to shirk from his mindset. Goes without saying ,that hard core realism of being in a loveless marriage prompts him too, amongst other things. For When battle calls, the soldier obeys! whether it's at the home front or on the edges of the motherland!

Opening scene impressed me.. Ravish in uniform.. posted on the stairs, Vividha coming down a step or two morally? But her standing beside her husband intimates that what ever Ravish declares has her consent too. Their polite smiles also spells out cordiality between them.. an agreement. ..pity things fell through between them. But then all the world loves a lover! Even though Vividha appears calm.. anticipatory, I would say so.

If it was Atharva's day yesterday to let off steam , slam, damn, smash whatever hammered his mind..much to much, too soon was hurled at him.. thank heavens for rage! It provides catharsis to the tormented soul .. To me the blood bond leapt at my spirit the most, apart from empathy for the emotionally dismembered Atharva. Good old dramatic confrontation between two brothers, unaware of each other's existence.. now hurled before each other by upper hand of the gods! They fought, one unleashed frenzy, the other received with justified, compassionate understanding, minus retaliation.. the soldier ,to me when hammered by the aggrieved beast .. was somewhat swamped by.. brother.. my brother callings.. Now on his way out Atharva is forced to halt! by his brothers, command! With quite a proposition .. take with you ,one that belongs to you! Well its clear the ball is Atharva's court.. Ravish forfeits , but will Atharva accept? not so, without pointing out the reality. For him she is another's wife.. His big bold eyes swim in tears, is he experiencing a meltdown.. brother oh my brother..especially so when Atharva argued with Vividha yesterday.. Ravish's love for her can be seen in his eyes.. while his love for her can only be concealed.

A much complicated issue is ironed without much ado! True marriage between two people in love is a bonding of the souls.. roughly but well defined by Ravish without mincing his words..Vividha is set free by him, handed over to Atharva as promised to his father. Some symbols red and green bangles, mark of a married woman are removed and crushed to declare end of the nuptial bond between him and Vividha. Another prop well used by CVs, was the prop of the fathers wrist watch on the sons wrist in the joining of Atharva Vividha hands. Quite symbolic, that whereas for Sujata and Ramakant the senior soldier, it was a marriage of the souls only.. yet one that was never declared! Ravish the junior soldier , is hell bent to reverse his father's folly!

As expected serious issues like marriage which both legally and faith wise cannot be dissolved in the blinking of an eye! Thus it receives resistance from the two mothers, but Ravish marching off to battle stops their bantering, as one wedding is annulled and the other validated?

End appears all too well.. Atharva returns to the home where his heart is .. this time he has both women he loves dearly besides him..its like old times, Vividha praying at a specific time and Atharva passing her the basil leaves... are things going to be the way they were between these two? or will a brushed off pinch of vermillion in the hair parting make a difference to both Atharva and Vividha's relationship? Now that the sacred MS worn in his namesake is no more around Vividha s neck.. is Ravish's life on the line

Overall I enjoyed the dialogues spoken by Ravish.. how he fights for their union, before all. It seemed the hardest ones to convince were his brother and his ex-wife.. till he finally argues, "its like the gods themselves are obdurate at uniting you two! Hamlet53 24.1.17

Helloo to all.. have been a silent reader, of this forum. Have to say it is abuzz and alive. There are some brilliant writers on the forum.. and members express their views freely . The story interests me and the main cast is very credible and convincing and as such I look forward to seeing their performances. The story ,for me to is engaging and captivating. I began watching the show after the antagonist split the protagonists. So you may deduce that I have not watched the romance from the onset. However what ever I see in the Flashbacks is very becoming and Iam looking forward to forthcoming romance.. It feels good to be here .. much love hammie..

Hammie is a pure delight to see you on this forum...

The harmony of these two lovers will have the task to test their love and commitment in keeping their word to each other...

I too have watched the show on and off and the M L and his thinking drew me to his character ,
and the way Vividha literally changed herself with his quiet guidance in showing her how to build her self- confidence...

I just hope the Cv's keep this pair of Atharva and Vividha together through thick and thin.

I do feel for Ravish but I do admire him for sticking to his promise he gave Vividha.

Hammie thanks again for your wonderful take of the episode...

Stay warm my friend...🤗

That's a really well written post! Would love to see more of you here.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm very intrigued to see how Vividha & Atharv come out of this turmoil together. It won't be easy and nor will people around them make it easy for them

yes.. its revolves around the family unit.. all families have complications.. some more than others.. the real test is how deep rooted misgivings with side effects like issues.. Atharva are dealt with
