I remember after the first separation when Vividha called herself a widow. I had goosebumps as she broke down remembering Atharv and telling Kailaash Kashyap that she was getting married ONLY to save Atharv's life.
But today, when she declared herself a widow a second time, I was truly in awe. This woman stood before her 'husband' and his family and told them that she no longer considered herself married as the only man she breathed for and lived for had died.
Despite Vividha telling the whole world over and over again that she lived and loved only for Atharv, we still had Suman asking Sujata to 'give' her Vividha for Ravish.
What can I say about Suman. Really has she no decency at all? She is talking to a woman who has just come back from doing the last rites of her son, and she has the audacity to ask her to think of Ravish's pain and give him Vividha. She literally emotionally blackmailed Sujata by reminding her how much Ravish had done for her and Atharv. And is Vividha a thing that she can be passed from one man to another. Is her choice and feelings not considered in this matter?
Suman as a character has been a real enigma for me. Initially I thought of her as a kind woman who would understand others feelings as she had led such an unhappy life. But as time has gone on, her hatred for Atharv and her selfishness has astounded me. She is willing to do anything and say anything so that Vividha will stay with Ravish despite knowing Vividha has no feelings for him.
Sujata finally broke down today. All this time, she had hope that Atharv would come back but after the last rites were done today the hope drained away from her.
Ravish looked dazed at Vividha's widow announcement. Even though he knew what Vividha felt for Atharv, it can't have been easy for him to hear that she considered Atharv as her husband with her mind and soul, even though she hadn't taken the seven pheras with him. Vividha then tells a shocked family that she will leave the house.
In the pre-cap, Sujata tells Vividha she has to take ulte phere and she agrees. But Ravish tells her she can't make all the decisions by herself. I'm sure the pre-cap is totally misleading by the way with regards to what Ravish says.
Vividha as a female lead is truly one of a kind. She makes her own choices with regard to her life and the one she made today was extremely brave. Reemz has already made an amazing post on her so I won't say much more except to say she has fulfilled all her vows to Atharv. She promised him she would always be his and she is staying true to her promise. What a truly awe inspiring character.
