Though it is labelled low crime doesn't mean no crime.

Thank u priya for ur brief explanations and informations regarding Hindu marriage law.
Ravish is a very good human being surely he will relieve vividha from this so called forced marriage on her view.
Hope he will get his true lifepartner with lots of love only for him soon.

Thanx for providing valid I information about marriage
I don't want any forced marriage or relation between Ravidha and as R already freed her
So it's totally going to her choice only
Whether to carry on with this marriage or goes back to lover
The day she asked for divorce ,he will give her

I just want R also to get all happiness in life as he deserves

You should have mentioned why you think the "force" argument doesn't hold good in the first page .I understand that you copy pasted some parts, but it is fine as long as the discussion was in 'Poloenigma's post. Here you made a new post and only included some points to show the marriage is valid. There are many members who don't go through all the pages in a thread.

This is the most important point in the discussion as this is where we differ. How can you make a topic "VALID RAVISH-VIVIDHA MARRIAGE"...without including the main part.Very misleading.
Clarifications needed.

But, my argument is that there was no force at the time of marriage (the force had ceased to operate). Vividha had seen her father signaling to the goons to go from the scene. Her father was with her during the marriage ceremony.

The TM contradicts himself/herself. Whatever you feel whether it is forced or not does not matter. Dont add your views to the law system and say that law presents it so. Just stick to what law says. Only the law in the purest form matters. Not your interpretations/perspective of it. Law says that marriage cant be forced. PERIOD

Law says-

5) If the consent to the marriage was based on fraud or force;

If you feel it is not forced then it is only your perspective. It is not LAW. If you think if a father forced his daughter on gun point is not fraud or force, then GOD save the world.

You may feel that it is not forced probably because you think it is an ideal world or probably a Ravish fan. We see that it is forced marriage. Vividha loved Atharv and she wanted to marry him but Atharv was kept at gun point and Kailash asked her to marry someone else only then Atharv can be alive and this forced her to marry Ravish. Even in the marriage mandap her father was present. How do you expect her to reveal the truth to anyone? She might have as well thought its her father's men. If you cant see the simple plain truth then dont make topics saying Ravidha marriage is ideal and legal.

@poloenigma @Reemz thanks a bunch. if you guys had not pointed out that this person conveniently left the "force/fraud part" then many people would have lost faith in Indian law system.

You're welcome :) it just bothers me when "lawyers" mislead other people about law. Indian Judiciary is not THAT biased towards women to not have considered forced consent in a country like India where honor killings take place.

There's no logic in Indian serials so there's no point in arguing as its all basic on trps on who ends up as endgame

@TM Thank you so much for sharing valid information. 😊 Everything was clean & clear.

Regarding 'force' I would like to say something here.

Vividha in fact made few attempts to reveal the truth to Ravish after their marriage though they weren't strong enough. If she was really under any pressure at that moment why would she take a chance and plan to reveal her past? This hints that the 'force' ceased to exist by then.

yes she did say in one of the episodes I dont remember the correct date of episode either Needs to search on hot star as well but she was taking milk for Ravish She heard some sounds in the wardorabe and felt its Atharva then she shrugged her thoughts and said Atharva i know you have been wronged but i cannot do more wrong with a good human like Ravish so its better you forget me and move on
and honestly these ViTharv fans arguments are funny

They say Vividha was trying to fulfill duties of Bahu ? who is a bahu ?if she never considered her marriage with Ravish as marriage then how she was Bahu of his family and how she was trying to fulfill the duties of bahu which they are saying ?If she was trying to fulfiill duties of bahu they accept then it means she accepted she is bahu of that family and Ravish is her husband ? Common sense
