ViTharv OS- The Sacred Relation!
Vividha was attending some meeting when she was told that she had to go to the hospital immediately. There was some improvement in Atharv's condition. He had opened his eyes, shifted his body voluntarily and was responding to questions by sign language. She was informed that he may take more time to actually speak and may have forgotten a part of his memory. His head was badly injured. Recovery would be slow, but he will be fine! Vividha rushed home and picked up Sujata Chachi and left for the hospital.
As Sujata was engrossed in the discussion with the doctor, Vividha barged in to see Atharv lying on the bed. His eyes open, he lay down on the bed. He had finally started improving. He had regained consciousness, and was breathing on his own.
Vividha was relieved to see him without any tubes attached to his body. She remembered how she would sometimes come and sit next to his lifeless body and spend hours, holding his hands, telling him about her days, Sujata chachi's health, about office projects and lovingly keep looking at him. She had held back her tears, her feelings, her fears and her love for a long time. All she wanted was to go and crush in his arms. Be safe and secured again. She had missed him, more than anything in life. She had missed those moments, of stolen moments, of stolen kisses and of every time they were intimate. She had declared that she was his and his only. She remembered the moment when she had kissed him in the library. She remembered when she had kissed away his pain, soothed his anger. Her touch was all needed to calm him down, bring back his calm and composed nature. She was not the woman who would sacrifice the man she loves, she was in love and had every right to claim him back, she had no qualms about bearing her soul in front of him, cause she knew, he will understand, she had no qualms about crying in front of this man, cause she knew, he will wipe her tears away and be her rock, she had no qualms about sharing her aspirations before him, cause she knew he will give her the much needed motivation to follow her dreams and soar in the sky. He had given her wings, he had given her hope, he had given her confidence and he had empowered her. He had been that person in her life, which was hers only! He was all that mattered to her.
He had been right all along, about her father's true character. She had always placed her father above him, she had always placed her trust in her father more than him, and she had let her father dictate her life from her childhood till now. She had been very timid, shy, obedient and sometimes arrogant. Her pride for her father had shattered that very day, when her mother finally told how he was a wife beater; he was a cruel husband, a soul less father. He had hired goons to kill Atharv, it was her sheer luck and god's blessing that she had been able to overpower her father and her coward brother to save the love of her life. She had finally let out her tears, cried in Sujata chachi's arms once they reached the hospital and Atharv was under medical supervision.
She had finally realised the difference between her father and her husband. Her father tried to control her, Atharv gave her freedom. Her father tried to claim his daughter, Atharv had given her the freedom to claim him. Her father had clipped her wings in her childhood; Atharv not only gave her wings, but taught her to fly. Her father made her obey him, his dreams were laden on her, Atharv told her to dream and helped her achieve her dreams. Her father, she respected him because he was her father, but Atharv commanded respect. Her father claimed to love her, but Atharv proved that he loved her. Her father believed in ego and status, Atharv believed in relations.
She wiped her tears away and slowly walked inside the room. He was struggling to sit properly. She had rushed to help him sit properly. She gently caressed his face and he held her hand. The same way, he held her hand when she asked if didn't care for her anymore, when she was trying to reason out when his father's truth was out.
Atharv: "Vividha..." he barely spoke.
Her heart fluttered, her mind danced and her face radiated. Her Atharv remembered her. That moment lasted a second when he spoke again,
Atharv: "Vividha Kashyap? Kailash Kashyap ki beti...jo papa puran gaati phirti hai...wahi hain na aap?"
Her heart had stopped beating for a second, she was terrified when the doctor had given her an idea that there might be partial memory loss, but after uttering her name, her hopes had increased only to be shattered into a million pieces. How would she tell him, that she had cut all ties with her father, that her husband had been right all along. She had missed that naughty glint in his eyes, and her heart hurt, hurt immensely to see the one man who mattered the most to her, not remember her, remember their love, remember their journey, remember their passion, remember their intimacy, remember fights, remember their vows.
As she was about to leave from there, in a distraught state, he finally held her hand like he always did.
Atharv: "Vividha Kashyap nai...Vividha Atharv Sujata..." he finally said letting her soak in the moment.
He remembered her, he remembered they were married, he remembered the love they shared, he remembered the passion they shared, and he remembered everything. She turned around to see his face have that goofy smile. Her hopes had not been shattered, she could hope again. Her dreams were not burnt down, she can dream again. They could dream again!
He pulled her in a rib crushing hug, and she melted in her arms. After feeling those safe arms snaked around her body, she was lost in touch. How many days had she waited for this very day? How she had dreamt of their reunion, how she had dreamt to spend her life lost in their world? She slowly separated from the hug; he had placed his hands around her waist, giving her support. She looked into his eyes, eyes that held the warmth and love he had for me.
As Vividha was about to speak, Sujata cleared her throat to warn the love birds.
Vividha jumped out of bed, and was kind of embarrassed, but not completely.
Vividha: "Chachi aap kab aa gayi? Main to bhool gayi ki aap bhi hai yahan..." she said confessing that she was lost in her husband.
Sujata: "Koi baat nai. Doctor se baat ho gayi hai...thode din baad ghar jaa sakte hain..."
Vividha smiled and hugged Sujata chachi tightly.
Vividha: "Chachi finally hamari dua rang laai hai. Aapne Dadajaan ko phone kiya kya? Bahut pareshaan hai wo bhi..."
Sujata: "Haan kiya hai..."
Vividha pulled Sujata chachi and made her sit next to Atharv. Sujata gently caressed his face, and pecked his forehead.
Atharv tightly hugged his mother, emotions running high. He couldn't anymore hold back the tears, he weeped gently. She calmed him down and tweaked his ear,
Atharv: "Maa...dard ho raha hai... ab kya kiya maine?"
Sujata: "Kyun tang kar raha tha Vividha ko?..."
Atharv: "Tune sab suna?..."
Sujata: "Aur nai to kya?...Uski zindagi tujhse hai...aur mazaak main bhi aisa mat kar uske saath...samjha?"
Atharv: "Haan meri maa..." he said folding his hands.
He pulled his wife and his mother in a tight hug. Their hospital room was filled with happiness, joy and love!
