I don't watch JNDSD regularly, but do pop into the forum to read the updates and discussions. I find one thread particularly amusing, the one with Shashank entering. His fans keep referring to him as a 'Big Star' and the fact that the PH for the show has taken advantage of his 'popularity' and 'name' to promote the show.😆

JNDSD was pushed from the non-peak time-slot to a popular time slot in a matter of few weeks by Star Plus. This was solely due to the existing, so-called, 'non-popular faces' and the storyline. I have no idea about the TRP of the show or anything, but do Shashank's fans really think that his entering the show will sky-rocket the show's TRP"s? Or that his non-entry will end up in the scrapping of the show? Is he really that popular a star?😕

In all honesty, I don't even like JNDSD so much nowadays. I do believe that it is being dragged and the creatives are simply playing on the chemistry between the leads. But at the same time, I think it is amply clear, that whatever popularity the show has, is ONLY because of Vikram and Shivani and no third person. However little popular JNDSD is, it is only because these two have managed to pull in the audience.

I don't think Shashank is that big of a star or has such a massive fanbase, that the creatives had to 'use' his name in order to bring in the audience. The fact that the show started off poorly and has done so well in comparison is a testament to the fact, that it is because of its leads and not because of someone else, who is supposed to enter it at some point in time. If Shashank's name was indeed used to promote the show, then JNDSD should have started off with a bang, instead of starting off slow and growing steadily.

Let us hate the creatives if they have supposedly wronged your favourite star, but let us not take away all credit from other actors, who have done their bit.

You know what? NO TV star can pull TRPs!

Who are the biggest TV stars? Let's name a few of them, Drashti, Sanaya, KSG, Barun, Jennifer...all these stars have done shows with LOW TRPs despite their popularity.

What does that say? It's the story that pulls!

People have connected to Vitharv big time so they are playing on that chemistry without a doubt. Though the recent episodes may have been stretched because of Shivani's absence too so we need to keep that in mind but otherwise it's 100% the channel IS taking full advantage of their chemistry which is a hit.

I keep saying this. WE all want TRPs to go up even with Shashank's entry because his character is part of the show we love! The twist his character brings may cause an increase in ratings, NOT Shashank himself.

I just don't get this whole 'my favourite actor will bring TRPs' gibberish! Do you know how TV works??

I'd never even heard of Shashank before I came across that thread. Nothing against the guy but his fans are deluded af to think he'll cause an exponential increase in the TRPs.

A fan wrote that if the news of Shashank quitting comes true, then the TRP"s of the show will drop further.

Yes, why not. Five people quit watching the show will bring it tumbling down.😆 And are they trying to imply, that only Shashank fans are keeping JNDSD afloat by watching it? The non-Shashank fans are dead or what?😆

Can't they see how well the show has done without Shashank? Or they can see, but refuse to accept it?

The show was never meant to be a TRP scorcher, if that was the case, the channel would never have given it such a pathetic time-slot. I think the show was only supposed to be a filler. But the fact, that it got a prime slot, proves without doubt, that Shashank or no Shashank, people have connected to the story and especially to the characters of Atharva and Vividha.

I too have nothing against Shashank, I have no idea who the bloke is even. But his fans compel one to write something.😆

that thread is just a doss of laughter...lol...even i dont know that actors name before this show...i have randomly saw him in bv...n jana na dil se door is promoted with tv audience only using shivani n vikram...till now many people who r not in social media doesnt know that there is new entry...shashank is no barun or gurmeet...😆 for now vikram is more poplular n even dadis n babies r lyking atharv😳 its their hardwork n sizzling chemistry that tends us to watch this show...

i hardly c bright future for this show if vitharv is not the end game...

its sp's popular show now...n no doubt on it...n 10:30slot added its popularity

^The kind of impression that thread and it's posters gave me...they're pretty much implying the only reason JNDSD is doing as well as it is, is 'cause people are anticipating Shashank's entry. 😆 Didn't know the physical non-existence of a 'popular' TV actor on a show could bring in the ratings. Shashank must be one hell of a guy.

Tbh I had a few choice words for some of the ridiculous comments made , then I remembered this is IF. I'll be one up against an army. Plus this forum and it's members in general are quite chill and unproblematic. His fans can continuing thinking he's somehow the foundation of this show's little success and the minute he confirms he's not entering, TRPs will fall dramatically. Whatever helps them sleep at night 😆

It started watching this serial this just bcoz of Vithrav . I just love them And their chemistry .Even when I started watching this serial , I did not know that Someone else would also come .I came to Know About him when I came here .I did not saw him before and even did not know his name .this serial is popular just bcoz of shivik And their chemistry .I just wish that vithrav would remain together always .I will not mind if So called 3rd Lead would quit the show .I only love Vithrav .They are rocking .

well I saw one episode on a boring day when I was unwell n nothing to do...and bang on I was hoooked as much as one can be...

Let me tell you am 40 plus not someone who has fav easily but let me telll you VITHRAV is just awesome n the show is simply beautiful...every episode brings a smile on ur face

Vikram is tooo goood and he has really carried the show to great heights with the support of shivani...and the show is going places of what I can see...

shashank has not come to the show as of now so trps or success or failure of the show has got nothing to do with him...

I did not kno he is entering the show or that nausheen ,it doesnt matter ...as the show got me hooked becoz of VITHRAV...,vikram n shivani n the supporting cast

Infact have told a few friends of mine about it and they love vithrav n are In fact a lot of ppl want to exit the show with the new leads entry
