may 13th: Gajraj raises a huge scene and forces Jai to accept his demand that he marry Batori, w/o letting go of Jamuniya. In the meantime, Padmavati confesses what happened when she tried to strangle Jamu, and Rakishore overhears. She begs Rakishore for forgiveness, but Kuber laughs, and the entire family now knows that Rakishore supports their efforts, but is ahead of them. They decide to use an adivasi puja as the occasion to make another attempt on Jamu
may 14th: That puja is on, and Jai initially refuses to attend it, deciding to be in Jamu's room & take care of her. Kuber tries to persuade Jai to come, but Avadh backs Jai up, and Jai initially doesn't go. Avadh explains to Gajraj that Jai's taking care of Jamu, since noone else is there.
Adesh comes into Jai's room w/ a basketball, and tells Jai a story about a tiger and a kid, and how the tiger appeared when the protection of the kid was withdrawn. This gives Jai an idea, and he knows that whoever is thinking about making an attempt is holding off on it, since he knows Jai is there. Jai therefore decides to step out and go to the puja, where Rakishore & Kuber are. Kuber disappears from there, hides in a blanket, takes a dagger and goes towards the haveli. So does Jai, and he encounters Bali, and explains to him that he had come out to entice the culprit in, and is not going to spare him today. Bali lets him go, and Rakishore, who is nearby watching, is in a panic. In Jamu's room, Kuber is about to stab her w/ the dagger.
Precap for next week: Jai chases the culprit, still covered, into the living room, and the culprit is soon quickly surrounded by Bali, Avadh, Harihar and Gajraj. Gajraj is furious and orders that the culprit be uncovered. (Jamu is still in danger, since Rakishore is still loose)
