Chapter 38: (Written by me)
They walked over to the car.
"I don't wanna leave", Soniya moaned.
"Why not jellybean?", Rahul said.
"Because once I leave here, I have to get married and we all know how that goes", Soniya joked.
"What!, Rahul took it seriously for a second.
Then Soniya grabbed his face and kissed him on his cheek.
Roshni mouthed an "Eww"
"Guys please you are in public", Roshni made a disgusted face.
"Let them na baby we are no less", Siddarth kissed her cheek.
Roshni wiped her cheek continuously.
"Pyaar ka nishani doesn't go away", Siddarth whispered to her.
Roshni looked at him and rolled her eyes.
"Rahul?".
"Soniya".
"Does Siddarth have any like sad incidents of him?", Soniya asked.
"Wait what? What do you mean", Rahul was confused.
"Listen me and you both know Roshni is strong on the inside but when she hears sad stories about people she loves, she melts", She had a brilliant idea
"Toh?", Rahul was still bewildered.
"Toh. .".
Rahul finally understood what she was saying.
"Waah looks like you are becoming smart like me", Rahul teased.
Soniya laughed.
"Are you guys planning on spending your whole day here or coming with us?", Siddarth said.
Rahul and Soniya quickly got inside the car.
Siddarth started driving.
Soniya got a text message.
"OMG", she said out load.
"Kya hua?", Roshni asked.
"Rahul Roshni jeejusa our wedding is on the 2nd of March"."
Siddarth started driving faster. Its like he was taking all his stress out on the wheels.
"Wait a second. Jeejusa isn't it your birthday on the 2nd? I saw on Facebook", Soniya asked.
Siddarth drove faster. With no control over the wheels.
"Soniya", Rahul signalled her to not say anything further.
Roshni was confused at his sudden change.
"Sid are you okay?", Rahul asked him.
No reply.
"Siddarth..".
"I AM FINE RAHUL", Siddarth shouted.
Roshni jumped on the car seat.
"I am sorry I just don't..never mind I am sorry for shouting", Siddarth apologized.
Soniya looked at Rahul .
"Nothing I'll tell you later", Rahul whispered.
"Okay".
Siddarth started fiddling with his fingers on the driving wheel.
Then he stopped and sighed.
His hands started shaking and Roshni got scared seeing this.
Rahul held Soniya's hands and got out of the car.
"Rahul why are you..".
"Shhh trust me what am doing is right".
"Actually Siddarth's gets scary and he get into a really bad state when he hears that date. 2nd of March".
"Why?", Soniya asked.
"Long story I'll tell you later. For now just know that its not a good idea to be in the same car as him right now", he continued.
"What? But Roshni is in there".
"That's different. When you are with someone you love, it calms you down", Rahul smiled.
"You're right".
"Come let's go on a walk", they went on a walk for a fee minutes.
Meanwhile Siddarth was shaking in the car. He felt his hand going dumb.
All he could think of was that day.
He closed his eyes and a pair of hands full of blood came into his mind.
"Nooo", his eyes shot open.
Roshni now got really worried.
"Siddarth!", she shouted.
She held his hands making an effort to calm him down.
She rubbed his hands.
"Siddarth shhh", she tried to comfort him.
"All my fault. It was all my fault. It was all my fault Roshni!", he cried.
"What was your fault", Roshni tensed her eyes.
Siddarth looked at her with emotional eyes and then looked back at the driving wheels.
He wiped his tears and tried to take a long deep breath.
Roshni was bent on worried now. Tears formed into her eyes.
Siddarth looked into her eyes making both of them weaker for a second.
He smiled and wiped her tears.
"Nothing Roshni nothing", he tried his hard to turn his frown into a smile but it barely worked. It gave away his pain.
"Siddarth you're hiding something from me".
"Are kuch nahi baba", Siddarth smiled.
"Ajeeb hain yaar. He doesn't tell others his pain himself but expects others to share theirs", Roshni thought.
"Vaise was that love I just saw in your eyes?".
Roshni stammered. "Uh no. I was just trying to be nice", she replied.
But Siddarth caught her lie.
He got closer to her with naughty eyes.
Roshni tried to lean back but the car seat prevented her from doing so.
"Siddarth", Roshni quickly closed her eyes.
Siddarth laughed and tightened her seatbelt.
Roshni opened her eyes.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that? Chill yaar I was only putting your seatbelt on. It wasn't tightened properly", Siddarth teased her.
Roshni sighed. "I knew that", she replied
"Yeah sure, I know how smart my wife is".
"Matlab?"
"Matlab woh dekho Rahul and my sweet saali sahiba is coming".
Rahul and Soniya got back and was relieved to see Siddarth calmer.
"Dude mom called. She said if we don't come home fast she won't spare us when we get home", Rahul warned Siddarth.
"Uff maa ka gussa bi na", Siddarth moaned.
He then drove the car again.
"Plan shuru", Soniya winked at Rahul.
"Jeejusa is it true that you fell of the rock climbing wall once?".
Siddarth choked on his own breath.
Roshni started laughing. "What? Haha".
Siddarth gave a death stare to Rahul .
"Rahul why would you tell such an embarrassing story of me like that to her?".
Rahul laughed looking at his face.
Soniya hit him. "Rahul Roshni is laughing we wanted her to cry na".
"Don't worry I'll make her cry wait", Rahul whispered
"Good because when she cries then only she'll realise she loves Siddarth as she can't see him in pain".
"Do you still have that bruise on your back?", Rahul asked Siddarth.
Roshni was surprised.
"Bruise?", Roshni asked.
"Yeah sis. Actually he fell from a great height that day. It was my birthday and we went rock climbing. I told him not to do it without attaching the strings but no he wanted to prove he was strong enough to hold on", Rahul sounded angry.
"We even had to take him to the hospital. His spine was badly damaged and the amount of bruises on his back heyyy bhagwan".
"Siddarth are you crazy?? Who does that? You are such a stubborn man. What if something happened to you?", Roshni scolded him badly.
"Aaye Haaye go on", Siddarth admired her.
"What?", Roshni gave him a strange look.
"Aur karo na. Acha lagta hain. It shows you cares about me", Siddarth held her hand.
Roshni retreated. Even she was shocked at her sudden outburst on Siddarth for not taking care of himself.
Soniya and Rahul gave a thumbs up to each other and high fived each other.
Roshni started biting her lips. The usual thing she does when she's nervous.
"Don't worry baby pyaar mein nervousness is normal.", Siddarth teased her.
"Excuse me".
Siddarth laughed. "You are excused".
Finally they reached home.
