Why should Sid help?

Why should Sid help Roshni to hide her past coming out in front of Neil? I don't think mami & ranjit are wrong in trying to bring out SidNi truth.. May be their intention s wrong but It's their family right, then what is harm in bring out the outsider's truth and preventing Neil frm getting cheated in future?😛😛
