Question

Can someone please tell me why Roshni became Ragini and stayed away from Sid for 2 years? I missed some episodes. Is she upset Sid couldn't save her mom? That seems like a not very strong reason especially since she knows Sid so well and knows that he would have tried everything in his power to save DD.

She basically feels their love was ultimate cause of DD's death and that they're both responsible for the death (she knows that Sid tried his hardest but also being with him keeps on reminding her of DD's death...she's at a state where she hasn't healed at all and she can neither live with/without him).

She knows Sid well enough that he wouldn't let her go if he knew she was alive and that he would spend day and night searching for her so she took the opportunity presented to her (train accident) and let him believe that she was dead so he would have some kind of peace (in a weird a sense of way). If he knew she was alive, sooner or later he would have found her and it would eat him up knowing that he couldn't find her, atleast if she's dead then he can at least have a chance of moving on.

I know some people say she should have asked for divorce but Roshni knows how Sid is, how much of a chipku he is and this was the only way to get space for him (just look at how he never strayed away from DD or even Roshni post first break up where she had to leave the city like a thief). It's not like she created fake news but rather took an advantage of the circumstances.
