Among the serials that will see a time leap is 'Jamai Raja', which stars Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma and Achint Kaur. The TV show will soon take a time leap of two years " minuscule as per television serial norms " and Achint's character, DD will be seen making an exit.
Achint has opted out of the show citing it was time to pursue a different role. The actress, whose repertoire of work comprises a number of pathbreaking roles over two decades, played a chic mother-in-law in 'Jamai Raja' " a step away from the stereotypical saas portrayal that is usually seen on the small screen.
